Why is Greg the Leg still on the team? Special teams?

Why? Why? Absolute the easiest position to cut and send a message and nothing but crickets. This is a huge part of the problem with this team. No culture change. They refuse to hold guys accountable.

and that’s 2 games “the leg” has cost us. The Tampa game and this game. Missing that 1st extra point had us chasing that point the entire game.

And pollards dumb decision to run the ball out in OT did not help the offence.

both “the leg and bones need to be gone.” This team just refuses to change the culture…

You take the good and the bad with this special teams. You can't be excited about Pollard TD but then get upset when he takes the ball out.

Greg the Leg has made a few kicks this year that have won us games or sent us to OT. Special Teams and Bones have been fine this year...Greg the Leg...I don't care that he misses 59 yard kicks he shouldn't be kicking those anyway. Extra points are rough though.

Wouldn't be surprised if the team cut him this week, but I think it just matters who the options are. The guy we had kicking didn't have to kick a FG, and Z has proven he is clutch at 4th quarter FGs this year.

If your kicker is great at clutch FGs, he not supposed to miss so many XPs. I'm sure the coaches are just as baffled.

I like Zuerlein. He is an example of a mentally tough player - the team needs more like him. He will make mistakes early on but when it's time to do or die, he shows up BIG time. One of the clutch kickers in the league. The team respects that bounce-back ability and that's why they trust him.

I don't blame him for the 59-yard miss at all. And as for the XP, it was early in the game, which is usually when he misses those. It takes him some time to get warmed up...the offense had plenty of chances to make up for it but they kept stalling until the 4th quarter. And the defense was letting Raiders receivers get open down field all day. Wish they had more mental toughness like Zuerlein.

He shouldn’t have been ask to kick a 59 yard FG in that situation but extra points have to be almost automatic

Isn't Bones in charge of the punter too?
