We can't beat the Saints there is NO reason to look forward to the playoff. If we even make them if we suck this bad:facepalm:
 
If we get beat Thursday I think the wheels are going to completely fall off. Having said that, I think we’ll win the game.

We can only rationalize so many losses. If we lose to WFT does that matter? Will we still be ‘ok’ going into the last few games against division teams?
 
If we lose to the Saints, then the problem is much deeper than injuries and missing players, and it will be much harder to identify and probably impossible to correct this year.

I’m not saying it’s a must win, record wise. I’m saying the Saints do not have a legitimate QB or their star WR. The only way they can score is running the ball and throwing short passes. Losing means our defense is so bad and exposed that we can’t stop the running and short passes when there is no other threat. Yikes!

It would also most likely mean our OL and our offensive playmakers, including our QB, played poorly and were overwhelmed by the opposing defense again. I don’t like to think about it.

Denver’s defense overwhelmed our OL and we were missing our star receivers, and Bridgewater played great! I can accept that loss.
The Raiders took away our run game and made us rely on a passing game with no one who could beat man coverage, and Carr played very well and took advantage of Jackson’s annual 1-game pro bowl performance and our penalties. I can accept that loss.

But I will not accept or excuse a loss to a team being led by Trevor Siemian or an injured Taysom Hill. With Ceedee Lamb back, if our OL can’t give Dak, even if he only plays okay, time to score more points than the Saints, then this team just isn’t ready to truly contend, which is what most of us thought before getting caught up in the fast start and turnovers early in the season.

I think we win on the road by at least two scores.

They don’t have a serviceable QB after Winston went down.

If the defense can stop the run, Dallas will win by 30.

Agreed, at least I'll be doing something that'll mean I can take my mind away lol. Speaking o which, I'm not sure why this is, but wearing a fursuit head is seriously relaxing. I can't see much outta it, but there's nothing quite like it. It's just so soothing and relaxing. I almost dozed off wearing it lol. Either way, I can't wait to be in Chicago tomorrow lol.

I think we SHOULD win by double digits. We simply have more talent. But you never can tell in today’s NFL. The Saints are so “Jekyll and Hyde”, and we’re so depleted by injuries and Covid. Boy, the league would L-O-V-E for us to lose, followed by Sunday wins by the Skins and Eagles. What a rating$ bonanza that would be down the road!
 
Based on recent play, I'm not sure there is an opponent I would feel very confident in beating.
I need to see something positive on the field ..... then we can discuss what level of confidence is appropriate.
 
There’s an equally strong chance this team plays well enough to win. This isn’t college football. The raiders and Broncos didn’t believe what fans said about them before beating us. The NFL is not predictable.

I noticed this morning that the odds favoring us have been reduced to 4 points -- possibly because Taysom Hills will be the QB for the Saints.

Of course, that's not to say we don't have a fighter's chance of leaving New Orleans with a win, when all is said and done. Nothing's decided.
