An important win to stop the bleeding

While this wasn’t an overly impressive win it was nevertheless an important win on the road which at least puts us back on course to controlling the division with a huge matchup next week upcoming which could all but seal the title for us.

If we had lost then the emergency sirens would have sounded with the division on the line next Sunday . While we still obviously have many concerns as we attempt to redial our earlier success this year we can at least see when all of our offense weapons returning adds to our production while our defense also returned to its earlier turnover productivity which I might argue is the key to this teams success moving towards the playoffs with an otherwise average defense that needs to be carried by a high powered offense.

Now we can take a sigh of relief as we look ahead to Wash in a game they desperately need to stay in division race while we could basically close the door with a 3 or 4 game lead pending their contest on Sunday vs Raiders.

It was a great win and very much needed and the whining on this forum in some of the other threads over a 10 point victory is disturbing

Great win, could they have played better? Absolutely, but this was a huge road win and the first in NO since 2009

In this league, a win is a win.......last night wasn't sexy but I'll take it every day over a loss.
Honestly, this was one of those "no credit" games. If we dominated and won by 25, we would have heard about all their missing players. If we won it close, people will ask what happen.

But, it's not hard to see offense is out of sync. I just can't figure if it's Dak, OL, WRs or running game. My gut tells me it's probably a little of all the above, including KM.

Yep. Two more wins, virtually, wins us the division

Yep 2 will pretty much do it in theory. :D

Win the next 3 games, it will be over. We win the division.
If WFT loses to LVR Sunday. Then 2 more wins should do it. But mathematically we still need 3 wins, or 2 wins and another WFT loss besides to us.
So the WFT / LVR game does nothing, as we need to win the next 3.
But a win over WFT next game for us will be huge as to just a few more swings of the hammer.

Still have the Eagles in play though.

I think I looked at all of that correctly, still on may 1st cup of coffee.

Impressive by the defense. Offense continues to struggle. Zeke sucks. Pollard needs to be the lead dog at this point.

And how did Zeke play? Another dominant game?

Pollard sucked as well, except for great blocking on his TD run.
Give it a rest.
All you want to do is be a troll about Zeke. You are looking like a fool about it.

Yep

Our running game though may have deeper issues with OL as I think it was you who suggested in another thread.

I think Zeke is hurting more than we know but he’s totally ineffective at this point either way and should be rested. We need him full strength for playoffs.

A win against Wash could seal the deal which could put us at least 3 games up with 4 to go .

And if Wash loses to Raiders this Sunday they could be looking at 4 games down with 4 to go next week.

Either way I think a win next Sunday closes the door.

Pollard had provided a spark and big play ability.

Zeke is obviously hurting. His avg had dropped from over 5 yards a carry to 3. We should rest him. He isn’t effective and we need him healthy for the playoffs.

This would give us an opportunity to see if Pollard can carry the full load. Possibly it’s something our owner doesn’t want to see.

You are as bad as Pappy and a few others with their hate for Dak.
The criticism is fair of Elliott. I want to think it has several factors including his current health and OL issues.

Our OL which has often been considered our strength hasn’t been performing at its normal level in the running game or protecting our QB.

Zeke is hurting, but its definitely the Oline. I would shut Zeke down as handing him the ball is a wasted play at this point.

I think it’s start with our OL. They’ve been out of sorts for awhile. Always considered our strength they’ve not only struggled to protect our QB but not opening holes for any if our RB’s consistently.

Troy even commented on it last night. He said without our running game our offense all falls on our passing game which was enough last night due mainly to the defensive effort and turnovers against a team without many of their key pieces and QB.

LOL.........yah, except for the 60 yard TD. :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao:

At least you admit Zeke sucks finally. Zeke has been this bad for 6 games.

So Zeke sucking makes ME look like a fool?

Sorry my friend but its YOU that looks like the fool.

No you look like the fool. I did not admit to anything. You are very delusional.
I will tell you what, I am not in a mood to go back and forth with you trolling hate and stupidness.
So back on ignore you go for awhile. So post away all your hate and garbage, I will not see it.

I do argue with insane people, as it gets one nowhere.

Roy can be very critical and direct and while the end results of Zekes production is mostly accurate he also noted in a reply to me it’s because of his health and the OL. That’s not trolling.
