Don't really pay much attention to grades or stats, like some fans. Can judge for myself if a player played well.

Lawrence had a really good game for us playing limited snaps. If you can't see that, I'm not sure what to say.

Aw, now he's backtracking. After pretending those meaningless grades meant something.

I watched the game. I don't need you or your Lamda Lamda Lamda brothers at PFF to tell me who played well.

What backtracking? Everything I've posted has said that Lawrence played well. The only backtracking I've seen around here is you getting off the Wentz train, although you still can't admit Prescott is the better player and try to play off your stance against him with humor.

The talking heads our saying Dak and the offense is the key to us winning in the playoffs. I think Dak limiting turnovers and scoring touchdowns in the Redzone is important but DLaw, Gregory, and Parsons is the key to us stopping Rodgers, Brady and Mahomes in the playoffs.

He seems to be a "technically sound" DE. He simply doesn't make many mistakes. He's not "gang-busters" when it comes to pass-rush, but he's better than average. He's very good against the run–Holds the edge as well as any DE in the NFL.
This is all true but he is paid like a dynamic pass rusher ... which he isn't. You're right that he is tops against the run but man, I'd like a few more sacks to go along with it.

Hey, guys. Micah Parsons was 8 tenths of a point better than DeMarcus Lawrence in the Saints game.

Are you disagreeing that DLaw played well while using your usual shtick to not admit it?

He makes plays like batting down two passes, one of which was very close to being a fumble, but the sack patrol dings him because he didn't get the golden stat. Sacks are generally the product of a lot of things. I'll take a disruptive player over one who gets a sack a game, but doesn't do much else. Player who comes to mind is Robert Quinn when he was here. He played wide and attacked the edge, but outside of his sacks, we didn't really get much from him. Probably why he's on his fourth team.

And tearing it up in Chicago…

When the entire starting DL gets back and on the field together, the Cowboys should have a pretty dynamic attack. They haven't started a game with everyone present this season, I believe

I would as well, but given what he is and what he does do when he's healthy... He's a good DE and the Cowboys could do far worse (and have). Is he overpaid? I can't make that judgement but he's paid, what he's paid.

All that being said, I would not be surprised to see his sack numbers increase (some) just because with Gregory and Parsons out there he has more talent around him than he's had since he was drafted.
