Here’s some more help in that area:

And that’s from a favorable source as well.

Sorry, that's not fear. that's lack of ability. You don't hit players head on if you're "afraid."

And when he passes on this chances to hit or initiate violent contact, that’s fear. If you’re not seeing it, I think it’s because you don’t want to. Nothing I can do about that.

This. Watch his tackling angles. He lets runners get past him so he can jump on their backs for the tackle instead of putting his head and shoulders into a tackle. Dude is finished.

we can see it and i bet the coaches can see it too, they should cut him and get it over with.

Criticize the player, sure, but a loathsome breed of fan contrives personal attacks on underperforming players intentions or effort.

Jaylon and LVE bring maximum effort, but that effort just isn't enough. In both cases its terminating their career and their NFL revenue. They know it quite well.

As Parsons is going to play a lot of edge, Dallas seriously needs a couple of new linebackers. Perhaps they also need a new linebacker coach.

Smith and LVE's play has sucked, but that's not all. Keanu Neal, 38.2 PFF score, has also struggled a ton.

I’ve seen it all year long. I have to believe if Cox was healthy he would be starting in place of LVE.

With LVE on the field we are playing 10 on 11.

He has zero sense of using leverage. All year I have watched him get pushed back for additional yards not once have I seen him make contact with a runner and push the runner back or stop them in their tracks.

Tentative and timid. He’s going through the motions and protecting himself. It’s easy to see.
Yeah, I tend to believe its fear as well. I don't blame him. If I had those neck issues, I think I would have just retired rather than risking life changing injury. I know all players risk that every game, but I think he is on another level of risk due to his neck/spine history.

Sadly, I think he’s already ‘retired’ and is just riding it out as long as he can. Until - like Jaylon - the league has seen enough.

LVE is done.

In his defense it’s hard to play in the NFL with a bad neck.

That’s likely a big reason why he has regressed so much.

LVE was awful last week. I believe he had one tackle. That’s unheard of playing the position he does.
