Narrative? LOL.

You had a 24 point lead and WFT had the ball at the end of the game only down 7. Asking why this team struggled to close out the game strong is a valid question.
Garbage time.......your words, over and over again, not mine..

Now what coach....?

To be fair… we do hear that a lot when Dallas scores late in a loss.

I guess the Dallas defense pulling starters and easing up on the intensity with a big lead, just isn’t the same thing to some people.

But to also be fair to the other side of the subject… the offense wasn’t good today and that bad pick 6 Dak threw gave Washington a butt-load of momentum and brought them within one score. So they definitely didn’t put the Skins away.

Some of the over-the-top responses to Washington’s comeback attempt are a bit over done though… and you’re right, many people judge their “favorite” team differently than all the other NFL teams.

No, I don’t think he’s being sarcastic. He’s saying Micah was the right pick.
Ok. You could make an argument that this is similar to the Watt vs Smith choice. I honestly think the Cowboys would have been good either way. Watt with Ware, Almost Anthony, and Ellis would have been devastating.

Yeah, clearly both are good players. However, Dallas desperately needed a game changer and culture changer on defense. They got it in Parsons.

Tyron Smith at LT and Parsons at LB is better for Dallas than Slater on the OL and Jaylon Smith at LB… at least it seems that way to me.

And if you tell me I could have the next Tony Boselli or the next Lawrence Taylor… I take the next LT 10 out of 10 times.

JMO, of course.

Learn the game before you talk to me.

I promise you wouldn't be running your ignorant mouth face to face.

LMAO
I would... if you bought me a bunch of good, stiff drinks, but I'd begin every sentence with "Respectfully..." and go from there.

You think it's easy? What experience do you have?
I played basketball, but I've played games where we crushed the stage and games where we were up 20 at the 4th and lost.

Sometimes things just happen.

I am concerned about what's going through Dak's head right now.
He's a better QB than this and something is wrong.
Who's his QB coach? I'm about to toss the keyboard for the night.

It is 100% a confidence thing. He has played in the league long enough to know what he is as a player and that he can play at a level much higher than this. Right now for some reason though mentally he is totally fried. His mind is not in the game and he is second guessing literally everything he does on the field.
Not suggesting your wrong, but I don't understand why this would happen. He has been QB 5 years. He should not have confidence issues.

Is Voc being sarcastic? He loves him some Slater. The offense would be more steady with Slater. Micah is the second coming of LT. The Cowboys made the right pick.

and to think we coveted Surtain and Horn .. instead of Parson...and we traded down further before we decided to fulfill the Parson pick

in a re-do over those same 2 teams that took CB would have drafted Parson instead ..- and no doubt other higher in draft teams too ... . but hindsight is hindsight.
