He's the best defensive player in the NFL.

Watt has more sacks, but that's all he does, he doesn't impact the game anywhere else. He had 1 whole tackle yesterday and zero QB hits. That's it. One tackle.

Garrett is the same as Watt. All they do is rush the QB. Watt has 54 tackles 17.5 sacks and Garrett has 31 and 15 sacks.

Parsons has 79 tackles and 13 sacks while being a part time pass rusher and the goes 30 yards down field to break up passes.

How can anybody look at DPOY and not think that Parsons is the clear choice?

It’s like the offensive MVP. If it’s close; it goes to the QB. Taylor should be MVP but won’t top Rodgers.

They go off sacks and stats. That’s why he won’t win it.

You are absolutely marginalizing what Watt and Garrett bring to the table.

Why do you think Parsons deserves it over Diggs?

He needed 1 statement game but he hasn’t done much statistically since the @ WFT.

They will do everything to give it to someone else. He needs a monster game against AZ.

There is no way the league gives him both DPOY and DROY. The former will likely go to a tenured player.

I agree he should be in the conversation, though.

Because Diggs also leads the NFL in yards given up.

Watt and Garrett bring less to than table than Parsons.

Strictly edge players don't rack up a lot of tackles. I mean, do you think Gregory doesn't have much of an impact cause he only has 12 tackles with his 6 sacks or do you see the impact he has on the field that may not show up on the basic stat numbers?

Parsons could be closer to Watt in sack numbers if they just played him at edge but they have him over the field at LB/Edge where he may not rush as much but can get more tackles.

Watt and Garrett aren't 30 yards down the field breaking up passes either.

Parsons is just better than both of them.

Diggs should be DPOY…not many players getting double digit INTs…lots of player get 15+ sacks.

He's got a shot if he finishes strong. The more comparisons he gets to LT, the more likely voters will look to justify those comparisons.

i think he should also. even though he probly wont win unless he have some really big game against arizona and eagles just that he is already on that level as donald, watt, garrett is amasing and what we all were waiting for even jerry wishing for his war daddy

I would have to agree with that

Noth players have been amazing but who the heck gets that many interceptions nowadays?

I doubt he ever does that again

Parson had one whole tackle last week himself.

If you think all he does is rush the passer you’re really saying haven’t watched Watt.

In 13 games he has
54 tackles
17.5 sacks
4 PDs
17 TFL
4 FF
3 FR
