Dak did nothing until the game was basically lost and needed a stop by the defense at the end for a chance.

If he would've played anything close to that the first 3 quarters we win.

Just call it how it is. There's no need to sugar coat it. He was bad again.

lol the garbage time narrative has comeback lol

I/we need to get better moving forward....and I/we will get better. I bet you all the pocket change I'm carrying this is what he will say....he is a broken record....not to mention broken!!!
He'll probably drop in another "band wagon/I hate the fans" and a "nobody has ever believed in me. I'm used to it" for good measure.

It’s hard for me to say this as a 3 decade cowboys fan, but Dak is average. There’s a small chance you can win a chip with a average q b,but the rest of the team has to be elite. How can that happen with that average q b being paid like Mahoney or even d Watson?

Honestly, my biggest problem the 2nd half of the year is Kellen Moore. I think DC’s have him read like a book at this point. The offense is struggling now and he’s the main reason why. It’s too late now with the playoffs just a couple of weeks out for Magic Mike to do anything about it.

So as someone who lives in Illinois and has watched a lot of Packer games over the years, I am curious as to what you think " Magic Mike" would do. Ask Packer fans if they would call him "Magic Mike".

Another Dak thread. The guy is a little bit better than Teddy Bridgewater, it is what it is. The front office made the commitment to pay him big money for the next 3 seasons. Let's hope they have a plan B because this is who Dak has been minus Zeke looking like a decent running back.

Dak wasn't all that great today. No he didn't lose the game all by himself but was largely ineffective for long stretches of the game, got away with some bad passes and until a late game drive, the offense largely didn't do much today.

You guys are no longer credible. You simply refuse to criticize Dak when the criticism is warranted. He was a factor, again, in the loss.
Go talk to your Dak hating high school bandmates, since y'all don't know what you're talking about due to never having played (much less starred) in the sport.

The defense not getting off the field with over 4 minutes and 2 timeouts was a thing, too

The refs not ruling that last AZ play a fumble like they're supposed to, and then overturning it if necessary (it was a fumble), was also a thing

The referee had a poor view of the play. Looked like the runner was down.

That's ultimately on the head coach. You can't waste timeouts on nonsense plays early in the game. If you have a TO there, you can challenge.

Dak isn't a difference maker. He's mostly neutral, kind of like Kirk Cousins. Dak is not elite by any stretch.

He was a 6th round pick 25 years ago sir

Still a 6th round pick. Dak hasn't evolved since his rookie season. Still sucks at anticipating receivers getting open and can't throw with accuracy. He's going no where in the near future but it would be a crime not to draft a QB in round 2/3 next season.

When he stopped using his legs after the injury, that was it. We've seen the plateau if that doesn't change.

Well this game should put to bed, if it hasn't already, the myth of "we have great wide receivers" and "we have a talent loaded offense".

Neither is true. Oh both are above average, but there are teams like the Packers, Chiefs and Bucs that are quite a bit better. Dallas isn't to their level. Wouldn't matter if Dallas had a better quarterback than Dak. The rest of the team is not good enough.

I feel so sorry for Tyron Smith and Zack Martin and Jason Witten and Demarcus Ware, among others They played at a super high level for years, only to see their careers wasted.

Will the Cowboys faithful ever see another SB trophy hoisted? Maybe, but it's very doubtful.

Two more games to go. Then it's back to "what might have been"....
