The Detroit Lions, Goff, did what Dak Prescott couldn't do

Goff out dueled Dak in a playoff game a few years ago. He may not be good but he's better than Dak.

I wont argue that, nor will I turn this into a straight bash Dak session as there is plenty of blame to go around. Still Dak has earned his share of the blame. O line struggled most of the day, KM didn't even try to run the football, Zeke had multiple drops, etc. Still Dak is struggling to go through this reads, identify coverage, throw with accuracy, etc.

Now I do think all the problems are related in the end. A better performing o line gives dak less to worry about in the pocket, a more balanced attack helps dak as well. Still doesnt take away from the fact that he is under performing though.

Finally a sensible post. They’re few and far between in here. Yes, Dak deserves some of the blame. Some being the key word. Oline was pathetic. Zero run game and the defense folded. Oh, special teams was a cluster as well.

Defensively, Lions didn't attack as aggressively either by design or b/c they just couldn't
But, it managed to keep Murray in check

Offensively, Goff did nothing special, he just didn't screw up,
But, Lions were able to run the ball and controlled the clock

The Lions also held Arizona to 12 points. The Cowboys gave up 25 and they could've added more on their last drive, when they burned the last 5 minutes of the game.

Weird how so many folks only see one side of the ball here.

Probably because the offense put the defense on the field too much. Lions defense didn't have to be on the field much because the offense had multiple 8 minutes drives.

You put Goff in this offense with Zeke, Pollard, Amari, CD, Shultz, and Gallup......protected by the best OL in the NFL..... I'd say a LOT of the QBs could do better than Dak has done.

I have facts. What do you have? The fact is that we have the highest graded OL in the NFL per PFF. We have 2 guys elected to start in the pro bowl. Thats 2 more than most teams.

When I see D-linemen in the backfield upon the handoff...it doesn't LOOK "the best" to me.

When I see two good RB's get 2-3 yards up the middle.....it doesn't LOOK "the best"....to me.

I See other O-linemen routinely make holes for RBs. And protect the QB better and longer.

Wherever you get this rating from.....is bs.

Dak did what Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady couldn't do. Beat the Saints. Dak and the offense put up 20 points but Rodgers only scored 3 points and Brady was shutout.
