Guy never deserved the hate he got. I was fine with the cowboys not paying him big money but I always like him. Seemed like a great coverage guy, he just struggled so much to find the ball. Accurate qbs tore him up.

There are many players that leave this organization and go on to have a good careers
Especially secondary. There was brief period where it seemed like every single secondary player that left immediately played better the next season (Newman, Church, Scandrick, Claiborne, Carr)

Also forgot Charvarius Ward who was more recent. We traded him away in 2018 and the next season he literally starts in Superbowl 54 which his team won. Has played 55 games

Chido was good but not great here. I wish they kept him. They had him do a lot of stuff within the secondary scheme KR cook up. Probably playing better ball since he dont have to do a whole bunch.

Very true Jason Hatcher, Stephen Bowen, Morris Claiborne, Bobby Carpenter, Demarco Murray, Barry Church, Chris Canty, Anthony Hitchens, Kevin Burnett, Bruce Carter, Gavin Escobar, JJ Wilcox, Jeff Heath, Damien Wilson, and Malik Collins. What a combo of good players over the years that played a lot for us that were taken away.

Then we lost superstars Byron Jones, Cole Beasley, Xavier Woods, and Chido Awuzie.

1) PFF is garbage.. always has been always will be.. No one who does not have the play sheets complete with what player had what assignment every play can accurately grade anybody.

2) Awuzie was a decent player.. but he was not a great player.. He still isn't .. but if a change of scenery helps his career I am happy for him.

3) Nobody deserves the kind of hate this fan base heaps on a player when they decide they don't like him.. It's rather sickening really.

Ward was an UDFA in 2018, he was traded for Ehlinger in part as desperation after Frederick was diagnosed with gillian barre syndrome!

Deion Sanders said, if a CB wants to make a play on the ball, he has to give that WR some room. Chido tries to be a shutdown corner by using sticky coverage. Well the problem with that is...if your close to the WR you're not going to feel comfortable turning your head around to look for the ball. It's psychological. You don't want that WR to fall then you trip over him injuring yourself when you fall.

Trevon Diggs gives up completions sometimes, because he's giving the WR some room. So a GM has to ask himself, what does he want from his corners? A sticky cover guy or an interception specialist.

Chido was a good corner if you wanted sticky coverage.

I see he doubled his usual INT total. He has two this season for a career.total of 6.

Also, he didn't miss half the season. That's a rare achievement.
