Philly's LT has false started two plays in a row.. and we end up with a roughing call.. At least we know which way the refs are leaning..

This team is one and done in the playoffs, as usual. Penalties have killed this team for years and years and we have collapsed in December for as long as I can remember.

I swear our Defense is covering nobody.. It’s easy.. What the heck.. Quinn better bust some ***.. This is pissing me off..

I hate this ref crew. They always hit us with the flags

Our defense does seem to be mixing in the second-teamers more. I've seen Basham and Armstrong out there more than Gregory and Lawrence. No excuse for the defense not doing better against their backups, though.

The route was a natural route run by many receivers on most teams. You run 2-3 yards straight, then angle in toward the end zone in the gap between the safeties. It's a very common route.

In this case, the defender not only stopped Lamb from doing that, he knocked him down.

It is not the receiver's responsibility to avoid defenders. That burden is on the defender.

As I said, if Lamb had posted up, or even turned more inward it would have easily been offensive pass interference.

As it was though, Lamb ran a route many receivers run and the defender got caught chasing his man and lost sight of the receiver running his route and as a result, ran into him. Fortunately for him it was close enough to the line of scrimmage that it did not result on the defender getting an illegal contact penalty thrown against him. Unfortunately though, the receiver he was way behind chasing scored a touchdown.
I get the point you’re making. But we do still disagree lol. If it were the Eagles running that play and they scored the TD, I bet we’d really upset that the refs didn’t call it.

All good though!
