this morning on GMF. The whole panel basically thinks they are losing this week. Saying pretty much same old Cowboys. Said they really didn't beat anyone this season. Until the Cowboys make a playoff run this will always be the narrative and it should. Here's to hoping they finally shut some people up because the truth does hurt.
No body should be mad cause they aren't brainwashed and speak the truth.

Right now I'll do a signature bet with YOU and I'll bet that Dallas wins this game here and now! I'll post as my signature block pure insult of YOUR design if I lose...but turn around if YOU lose!
But I think we'll win too! lol

If I make that bet with you that means I will be picking the Cowboys to lose which I don't think they'll do lol

I've said since the game was announced that I'm not scared of the Niners. I believe that's one of the few playoff opponents where we'll have the better QB and when we have the better QB I like our chances.

I still don't think anyone would actually bet the house on the Cowboys. I know I wouldn't and I think they'll win.

Let's just say I just did, but a win prediction is the intent...

Why do people continue to watch this garbage? It's barely newsworthy material. Basically it centers around one person who hates "X topic" and one who loves "X topic." These shows are made up of athletes who either never played the position they claim to know everything about or one that's too concussed to understand. Then sprinkle in someone who's never touched a football in their lives. I am being a bit dramatic but for everyone person who does know football on these programs, there's 10 others that don't. I'll watch games and make my own opinion. Heck, I'd even give more credit to the members here as knowing more than these shows.

Threw it on for background noise and then paid attention when they brought up the Cowboys. Everyone was hating on them there wasn’t one playing the role of liking the Cowboys. So maybe they all do think the Cowboys are frauds and weren’t playing a narrative.

I agree that respect is what you earn. I would think they would get better support from fans but we see that is not going to happen.

I just seen that and thought wow, what haters. As usual though. Sounded a lot like many on here though.
I could have sworn they were reading right off of this site.

Why are they haters, because they are telling the truth. The Cowboys have shown that they don’t win big games EVER! For as good as this team has been over the last 15 years with the Romo and Dak teams, they have only won like 3 big games. It’s absolutely pathetic and it’s gotten not just into the medias minds, but the fans souls. They’re not haters, they are truth tellers.

Let’s try a hypothetical question here. If your family’s life depended on you making the correct pick of who is going to win this game, and again hypothetical but if it was a reality, your telling me you’re not going to pick the 49ers?

Yes I am a life long 45 year Cowboys fan, but they have given no hope that they will come out and be the best team that they are. They always, always find a way to lose.

Yes I’m jaded but I’ll always root hard for my team.

Go Cowboys!

Cowboys beat two play off teams, the Patriots (when they were finding their feet early in the season) and the Eagles (general state of them). So it's hardly surprising to be fair. 49ers faced the Rams, Cardinals and Seahawks in six games in their own division beating the Rams twice, the Eagles, the Bengals and losing by 3 points to the Titans and 2 points to the Packers - both #1 seeds.
I think we have a great chance of winning and see it as pretty much a 50/50 but I'm not surprised people are questioning the Cowboys given the respective schedules and we haven't exactly lit up the play offs in recent years sadly.

The Patriots dropped to 2-4 after we beat them. So, I don't even count that game as beating a playoff team b/c they were far from it at the time. It took MaC Jones half a season to find his feet. We got lucky we played them early. SF plays in a much tougher division and is more battle tested. But, we should win this game on our home field. Jimmy G is the worst QB in the playoffs and he's injured. No excuses for Dak. If he loses this game, he's just a loser.

Love how you count the games you want and other games were just some how walks in the park. We beat the Saints, Tampa was unable to do that getting swept by the Saints. Winning in the NFL not as easy as you seem to think. As for Dak I expect him to go out and produce but I also expect others playing in the game to go out and produce, if that happens the Cowboys have a very good chances of winning. If Dak goes out and plays good ball and others fail to then it will not matter if Dak plays good.

Respect is earned. There were two games in the second half of the season that players were very publicly forthcoming about them being statement/measuring stick games, @KC and a couple of weeks ago vs AZ, and both times the offense got punked. They haven't instilled confidence they can be the same unit against good football teams. And unfortunately, minus Philly, all that's left right now are good teams. So its on them to change the narrative starting this Sunday.

Of all the games to promote Prescott I wouldn't pick the Saints game to be honest. I said that I wouldn't be negative about him in the play offs and I will be true to my word but come on, that game was about the defense. Hill was intercepted 4 times by the Dallas D and Prescott struggled in the 4th quarter. I agree though about it being a team game and I disagree with people who claim Jimmy G is a terrible QB. He isn't a top 10 QB but he's serviceable and he often runs big drives with good throws in the 4th quarter.

There is nobody here that would bet the house on the Cowboys winning this week. I don't care how much they fake their confidence.

This is the bottom line. The team has done little over the last half of the season to earn the fans confidence.

To pretend this team is some sort of slam dunk playoff winner is either very misguided or willfully ignoring the facts. If someone wants to just be a "super positive" fan, that's fine but as long as they acknowledge they are choosing to ignore the concerns.

To be fair, for the most part they are siding with history. Outside of a few WC wins, this team hasn't done squat in 25 years. Making a run one of these years can change that narrative.

I just never know which team or which Dak is showing up. The defense has been pretty reliable this year and I think they show up. I think SF plans a short passing game with quick QB release and plan for a lot of YAC. I would be shocked if SF ran all over us after the first drive. I think we allow a score on the first drive and then we settle in.

Will they be able to confuse Dak and how will the Oline make holes for the running game - that's where I don't really have a feel.

For so many this is about Dak for me it is about the Dallas Cowboys, it is a football team and the team consist of an offense and a defense and as a team they need to go out and produce to win. I'm sorry but this Dak agenda BS is really old and stupid. To win this team has to go out and play quality football period. That includes Dak but not Dak alone. People evidently are so fricken consumed with Dak they do not see the simple fact and the simple truth that it is a team who wins. If Dak goes out puts up 300 plus yards and throws a couple of TD and we lose what difference does it make if he played good? It is the team who must play good ball to win. Ask GB they have one of the all time great QB and yet has 1 ring from many season ago. It takes more than a QB and yet so many here are so dense they can't figure this out, so we get hundreds of Dak threads. If this team is to achieve what I am guess most of us want then it will be the Dallas Cowboys who win, not the Dallas Dak

You do realize that the media is beholden to the Commish and the Commish has vowed that Jerry will never enter another SB. The media gets their info from NY as do the Refs. The Boys will get no
breaks this week and Niners will be given every opportunity to win. Seeing how we play against tough teams, the help may not be all that necessary.

so you expect us to lay an egg because we usually do but if we do you will blame the refs and the media?

sounds about right
