It was like this in 2019 too (the last season he had Dak healthy). He is just in over his head like Garrett as an OC from 2007-2010. Limited coaching experience but inherited the OC job because he was young and Jerry wanted to groom him to be his offensive guru like today's Sean McVay (and Garrett was his version of Sean Payton)

Remember how good our offense looked at the beginning of last year and even this year? I'm not talking about how well the team was playing but for the first time in forever it seemed like we actually had a creative offense. Lots of pre snap motion, RPO, jet sweeps, lining guys up all over the place.

What happened to that? It's like Moore slowly morphed into a predictable, un-imaginative Jason Garrett clone.

You Cant run a west coast because you need a QB with elite accuracy and nimble feet like Joe Montana or Steve Young.

You cant run a down field offense because you need a QB with a cannon.

You cant run the offense that got Lamar Jackson the MVP because you need Lamar Jackson.

Agree qb is issue but I’m not letting him check out plays. I’m scheming to get lamb/cooper 1/1 matchups and telling him throw them the ball regardless. I’m getting pollard lot more playing time and getting him the ball in open space. Basically create a system where I take a lot of thinking away from #4

Unfortunately, the way KM and the offense performed at such a pitiful level at the end it has also hurt his chances to be a HC somewhere. Teams looking for a HC, want an experienced one and cannot afford to blow it on someone coming off a disappointing season. KM is no boy genius at this stage. Bieneimy, or even Pederson, is a better choice if that is what they are looking for. Jones is not firing KM. Dallas will get stuck with KM, MM...... and DQ may be the one who gets away, if any.
