Does anyone else not care if either of these coordinators get hired?

I don’t.

Dan Quinn did a nice job but when Lawrence came back he did not use Parsons in a way that he could impact a game since we came back from Washington.

Don't give a **** because Meatball McCarthy and his Diva daughter Dak and Kellen the Brides Midget will still be around. We need Quinn the most and I think he's a goner.

Back in the day if you interview a player/coach and you let them walk away you lost out on them. If I am DQ and I really wanted that job I say hey, if you want me sign me...don't let me get on a plane to go elsewhere.

Both had their moments but neither gave you that feeling of "our coordinators are better than yours" when playing other teams.

To be fair though, that is the case with most coordinators, but it still does not change the fact that it is true.

That is why I have said I hope they stay, but neither of them are irreplaceable.

In fact, it might be good to move away from the Garrett/Moore offense and find a coordinator that likes to play vertical given the receivers the Cowboys have and I doubt it would be hard to get a defensive coordinator that would be aggressive on defense with Parsons given what he did this season.

If the interview involved praises of the stout Dallas defense against SF, it was likely quite brief.

Stock in both DQ and Kellen has to be trending way down this week...both having been exposed.

I’m with you and I said this before the SF game. Quinn did a great job, but he’s replaceable for sure. This defense turned around bc of Parsons and Diggs.

However, the biggest hole on this team now is finding an offensive coach that can fix the issues on offense. MM obviously has no idea. That alone should cost him his job. KM obviously has no idea, he too should lose his job. Any other coach on the offensive side wasn’t able to help, so none of them should be promoted.

This takes me back to Quinn. If you promote Quinn to head coach and you allow him to build his own staff, you are probably looking at a guy from GB or SF coming in as his OC and then you have a chance of fixing this mess. But once you let Quinn go, all of that goes out the window.

Then you keep MM. You probably keep KM or even if KM goes, you hire one of MMs guys who doesn’t know dick and nothing gets fixed. So the problem isn’t losing DQ bc of the defense. The problem is potentially losing an offensive mind that DQ would bring in to fix this mess.

Of course these idiots won’t get this right.

Well it seems like Whitt would be the favorite or maybe Edwards if it is an internal promotion if Quinn leaves.

Just got to say after MM hired Nolan I wonder if the guys he wants are because they are the best for it or because they used to work together.
