MM is not the biggest problem with this roster… but he is certainly not an answer. Glad to hear JJ is at least non committal.

Any accountability at all would be appreciated at this point
That’s the issue with MM. Zero accountability for anything.

Clean up penalties?? That’s the big fix lmao

MM took the first job that he was offered to get back into coaching. Part of me feels he was happy to be here.

but address penalties after the playoff game? Inexcusable.

plus you basically have every former cowboy calling out the bad coaching. If I was JJ I’d be embarrassed to.

good sign though cause in the past he came out with Garret and basically said he’s coach

Ya'll remember his "some are going to be really uncomfortable at Valley Ranch"? That was his veiled comment about the coaches. They fired some assistant to an assistant to an assistant coach that not only did we not know he was on the team, his own family didn't know.

Why in the hell would Quinn want to stay here?

And while he is throwing around those veiled threats, he might want to consider that his defense, the Quinn coached one, couldn't stop the one weapon everyone knew the Niners would use, were sloppy tackling, had too many penalties and gave up 23 points a home.

Then hire a real GM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would settle for no GM hire but him giving up on trying to take a backup QB with no coaching experience and turn him into Tom Landry.

Landry coached under Lombardi.

Garrett and Moore coached hardly at all before being handed control of the entire offense.

Jones: "Mike what's the reason for all these penalties?"

McCarthy: "I won the Super Bowl once you know."
I mean it’s all he has. People forget how talented that team was. Not just AR12.

The defense was full of solid players. Raji, Matthews, Hawk, Woodson, Collins etc.

I just don’t see the passion or fire in McCarthy ever. It’s like a literal zombie just watching the game.

If he fires MM after going 12 - 5...I look at this as a positive.

For the longest, all I have ever wanted is for us to operate like a REAL football organization. And that means admitting mistakes....even if that means we look bad. But we have nothing with MM....nothing. Running it back makes ZERO sense. His hiring was a mistake. And hanging on one more year delays getting started with someone that can help us. There are no cap penalties for letting a coach go...so it's time for Jerry to prove how fed up he is. I repeat....we have NOTHING with MM! We are wed to Dak via his contract....and if you are going to have ANY chance of winning with Dak...you HAVE to getter better head coach. Dak is too limited to overcome 14 penalties. Not saying there are plenty of QBs out there who could...but he can't....nor should he have to deal with his own teams miscues and the opposition. Not trying to make this about Dak...but Jerry better realize who Dak is and who he is not...and get the necessary pieces to maximize what you got in Dak.
