Stafford's record against winning teams is still atrocious. Why didn't he elevate the Lions if the QB is all that matters to some you? Dak played like crap last week, but Stafford has looked pathetic at times throughout his whole career. He has a good organization around him now and he has advanced in the playoffs. Funny how that works.
Dak has equal or better talent around him lol. The Cowboys and Rams are probably the two most talented teams in the NFL.

One team is in the NFCC game, while the other is sitting at home after another no-show playoff performance.

lol Stafford has one of the most stacked teams in the history of the NFL and one of the best young coaches in the league. What happened to Goff once he left McVey? What has Stafford done in Detroit?

Stafford flew past him on a team that’s fully loaded that’s gone all in to win a Super Bowl. Stafford’s reputation in big games was crap until he arrived in LA. I still believe he’s going to fold at some point. He led the league in INT’s this season.

Oh but remember, stats don't matter to these folks. To them, INTs are totally OK if you look the part!

One has 13 years in the league the other has 6.

Not a Dak fan right now myself, but this thread is silly.
Why are some of you comparing their accomplishments?

Did y’all notice how well Stafford maneuvered pressure? He got the ball out so well all day, despite the Bucs defense being close to him on a regular basis. He maintained composure and made quality, confident throws.

Dak is the antithesis of that.
well, dak has a bad, calf, shoulder, and vag and scared and hasn't been shown what to look for in the defense. I think Irvin said bring somebody in who can bring the reading down to beginner level.

Not a fake fan... not a homer either.

Dak seems like a great guy, but there's a reason he got picked in the 4th round and Stafford got picked early. I don't have to not like Stafford because he's not a Cowboy. That's the loser mentality.

What has Stafford done prior to joining a team with Odell Beckham, Von Miller, Aaron Donald and a host of other stars? Has he made a championship game with one of the greatest WRs the game has seen in Megatron?

Took Stafford 12 seasons and the right team and coaching staff for him to get where he is at this season. Some are giving Stafford a pass by saying that he played on the Lions. But I just think that's a cover up for the double standards some hold Dak to. Where they are okay with other QBs getting 10+ seasons to prove that they can get it done. Where as with Dak they were even ready to give up on him even in his 2nd and 3rd seasons as the QB for the Cowboys.

Bro.. stop it!

Dak is a mediocre at best talent wise QB!

Its like saying some random RB was better than Barry Sanders because Barry never won anything either lol

When did actual talent become irrelevant?

If that's the case why did the Rams move on from Goff (who had a winning record and had been to a SB) in favor of Stafford? Because It's clear that Stafford is on another level!

All this just to prop up a Teddy Bridgewater clone that got a lucky break lol

So many fake fans on here.

They are giddy that another team wins and they can further rub it in our players. I will never understand this loser mentality.

And from some of the same posters where were ridiculing anyone who brought up how Rodgers choked last night or how Dak put up better numbers against the Niners defense than Rodgers did. They frown down upon any positive Dak threads or any threads that even criticizes QBs like Rodgers. But seem to think that there only should be limitless threads trashing and bashing Dak or countless threads of how *insert QB* is better than him. But if some Cowboys fan dare posts even one thread in support of Dak, then they are either called a "troll" or a "Dak homer."

If Dak had a competent OC like Kevin O'Connell, then we could make this comparison.

Instead Dak is stuck with an exposed boy wonder over here .

It's so funny to me that ppl would excuse Staffords decade of failure because of his supporting cast, and then look at the Cowboys and act like we're some talent powerhouse. WE HAVE GONE NEARLY 30 SEASONS WITHOUT APPEARING IN A CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP. There are more problems here than your QB

I am all for holding Dak accountable for that second to last against San Francisco but I am not gonna crap on him because Stafford played well in two playoff games. Maybe Dak will show us all he is legit next season.

Some QBs have gone throughout their whole career without winning a Super Bowl and some have gone 10 years while only winning one Super Bowl. And those QBs are still viewed as great or elite QBs by fans. So it seems like some want to cherry pick when playoff and Super Bowl wins should be used to judge the talent level or greatness of a QB.

I hope so, but I'm done giving him the benefit of the doubt.

You’re telling me the Dallas Cowboys weren’t a talented team this year? You’re certifiably out of your mind. I don’t give two ***** about the last 30 years. This year was a missed opportunity.

He’s lucky he has that defense. And time to throw the ball
While I agree with the defense analogy.......Dak had plenty of opportunity to run with the ball. He chose not to.

I'm not present during meetings. Don't know what was discussed.

Play calling was suspect as well,.IMO.
