Draft is plenty deep to find a very good starting TE.

I almost would agree but.

1. Schultz was worthless till an injury to Jarwin proved he was better than most still believe.
2. The way we use TE's is less down the fiels travis kelcy style and more short yardage witten style. I think sprinkle can do that to atleast a small degree.

For what it's worth Sprinkle was one of only six offensive players to play in all 17 games last season. The others were Ezekiel Elliott, Corey Clement, Dalton Schultz, Tyler Biadasz, and Connor Williams.

They will once the high-priced free agents are gone. They’re not about to overpay for a free agent. Doing it has never worked for us. Brandon Carr was the last high price free agent we signed and he was never a great player. He wasn’t near worth what we paid him.
