If we’re not in win now mode, it makes no sense to sign a 30 something linebacker.

I've lived in Seattle and I love what Wagner's done. Lock of a Hall of Famer. But I share this sentiment and don't think he will be as effective here as he was there so I wouldn't be desperate to sign him to decent to big money either.

He and all lb ers need a dt. He may only have two pro bowl years left. What happens here tells us a lot about the direction of the team. I also think Wagner will help the younger guys manage their money. He was in. Earn your leasure on YouTube last year. He was smart to negotiate his own contract to keep the extra money.

Wagner is still a top run defender and would help #11 out ALOT...I happen to know a team in need of run defense with a young LB that could use the help.

Methinks Stephen and a blind squirrel have much in common -- they both stand about equal odds of finding that acorn! :lmao2:

Quinn seems to know how to make good use of his players, and already knows how to use Wagner. We're a relatively young team, especially on defense. It wouldn't hurt us to have a couple of experienced guys out there to show the young'uns how it's done.

I might expect something similar to Keith Brooking. Brooking had a great 2009 but fell off in 2010. Brooking was 34 when he signed here though

Can we stop posting Fish? He’s a hack for clicks now. It’s a big business and it’s the model he uses

Fisher's one of those guys that will throw 20 rumors at the wall, 1 sticks and suddenly he's Nostradamus while ignoring the 95% garbage rate.
