LB not a huge need?

I'd agree. Low priority position on this defense that we've got a lot of bodies at.

I wouldn't be against adding the right guy, but it'd have to be a BPA kind of situation.
 
This is the feeling I got the last week or two from them. I think they will pick WR,OG or DE high. There is a chance for S or TE but more than likely not in the first 3 rounds.
 
I’m higher on Cox than most and Kearse is going to plate Nickel LBr.

Id be open to looking at quality run cloggers in the mid rounds if anyone falls.

Really what they need is more of a 2 down run player to eventually replace Lve. Cox/Kearse can handle the coverage aspect. Chenal would be the perfect fit, but not sure if they are willing to use a high pick at the position.

I’m all for drafting Dean muma Lloyd walker or Harris in round 1-2. But the Bigger thing is will they feel same way as us?

Chenal is my guy I'm on my own about. Sane way I was about an Terrell and Eric stokes. I think I was accurate on both. Chenal will be a very good player. And physical
 
Huge need ? ? ? might not be a Jordan Davis or Vince Wilfolk sized need, but is at least a Micah Parsons or Sean Lee sized one.

He is a stack/shed linebacker that we lack. 20 years ago, might of been a top 10 pick.
 
I watched the interview and it didn't sound like he thought the defense needed much work at all. They just need another year in Dan's defense.

This implies Micah will be lining up as an off ball LB a lot…which shouldn’t be the case.
We have LVE, Cox, and occasionally Parsons at LB right now with Kearse also moonlighting. We without a doubt need another guy that can step up and play significant snaps right away. When did Cox even become a sure thing?
There are still a handful of non Wagner LB’s on the free agent list that can likely be had for cheap that fit what we need…just a matter of if our front office is too dumb to recognize the need and/or how to use FA at all

I can see teams doing a lot of running out of the spread offense vs our Nickle D when the front 7 consists of DLaw, Gallimore, Osa, Parsons, LVE, Kearse and Wilson. Easy 5 YPC on the ground all day

Exactly. We have one good LB right now and he's at his best when not even playing the position.

Other than that, we have safety, a run down and mediocre LB who's put in one good season, and a second year guy who's proved nothing AND is coming off an ACL.

It’s a need but I wouldn’t have it above OG, DE or DT.

We play a lot of nickel so it’s not like we need three LBs out there a ton. I’d use a mid round pick on a LB but if I can get DL and OL with my top two picks, that would be ideal.

It's not a quality group though is it (without Parsons). I would like to see OL,OL,WR in some order. But LB if there is great value
