Yeah, there are a few here that are truly dumber than rocks and proud of it.Why even waste your time trying to talk any sense into that one?

packers LOST DA because they couldn't afford himCap is real....but not for the Rams, Saints or Packers.
In todays NFL trying to build a dynasty is pretty much out the door. It can still happen but its so incredibly hard now that going for a 2-3 year shot is a much easier way to go. I bet you will see more teams taking this route. Sure the after effects are bad and you are going to stink for a while; but if you can hoist a Lombardi or two....They have about two more legit shots with house money.
Meanwhile....we love a bargain.
I don't necessarily support trading away high picks, but why in the world are we not trying everything to win now while we have a decent roster? In todays NFL trying to build a dynasty is pretty much out the door. Sure would. I think successful owners realize that overpaying in FA is just the way it is. Rookies are cheap, FA's are not. It all balances out in the end. At the end of the day you can choose to compete, or not.We were never going to pay that, and it probably is an overpay, but wouldn't it be great if we were actually aggressive?

so yes and who do the saints have under big deal outside of Thomas and Kamara they are purging of course they have some free cash, but yes the rams have bottomless cap.
But they have no cap room with few picks and all the guys they paid.
and NO franchise qb, new coach, they are rebuilding brah..what was their record last year, right compare our 12-5 season to losing teams spending money despretalty...Not true…

Also, the Saints have other large contracts. Marcus Latinate is the 2nd highest paid CB and Ryan Ramczyk is the 5th in terms of average annual salary. (#’s are probably from before this off-season)
That's what I'm not getting.Sure would. I think successful owners realize that overpaying in FA is just the way it is. Rookies are cheap, FA's are not. It all balances out in the end. At the end of the day you can choose to compete, or not.
It's okay, guys.
We resigned LVE.
