Todd's got the odds, Mel's got the evens. So Mel ends up making all the Cowboys picks.

10. New York Jets (Seattle) — Drake London WR USC
11. Washington ********* — Kyle Hamilton S Notre Dame
12. Minnesota Vikings — Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU
13. Houston Texans (Cleveland) — Charles Cross T Mississippi St.

17. Los Angeles Chargers — Jordan Davis DT Georgia
18. Philadelphia Eagles (New Orleans) — Daxton Hill S Michigan
19. New Orleans Saints (Philadelphia) — Chris Olave, WR, Ohio St.
20. Pittsburgh Steelers — Kenny Pickett QB Pittsburgh
21. New England Patriots — Nakobe Dean ILB Georgia
22. Green Bay Packers (Las Vegas) — Christian Watson WR North Dakota St.
23. Arizona Cardinals — Treylon Burks WR Arkansas

24. Dallas Cowboys —

Kiper's pick: Arnold Ebiketie, DE/OLB, Penn State

I love this team-prospect pairing, especially if this many receivers have already been taken. Ebiketie can join his former Penn State teammate Micah Parsons in Dallas, and he'll allow Parsons to stay at off-ball linebacker.

25. Buffalo Bills — Andrew Booth Jr. CB Clemson
26. Tennessee Titans — Zion Johnson G Boston College
27. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Devonte Wyatt DT Georgia
28. Green Bay Packers — George Karlaftis DE Purdue
29. Kansas City Chiefs (San Francisco via Miami) — Jahan Dotson WR Penn St.
30. Kansas City Chiefs — David Ojabo OLB Michigan
31.Cincinnati Bengals — Devin Lloyd ILB Utah
32. Detroit Lions (L.A. Rams) — Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati

33. Jacksonville Jaguars — Tyler Linderbaum C Iowa
34. Detroit Lions — Lewis Cine S Georgia
35. New York Jets — Boye Mafe DE Minnesota
36. New York Giants — Jalen Pitre S Baylor
37. Houston Texans — Breece Hall RB Iowa St.

51. Philadelphia Eagles — Christian Harris ILB Alabama
52. Pittsburgh Steelers — John Metchie III WR Alabama
53. Green Bay Packers (Las Vegas) — Logan Hall DE Houston
54. New England Patriots — Dylan Parham C/G Memphis
55. Arizona Cardinals — Nik Bonitto OLB Oklahoma

56. Dallas Cowboys —

Kiper's pick: Abraham Lucas, OT, Washington State

With La'el Collins gone, Lucas could compete for Dallas' right tackle spot. He's not a surefire early starter, but his experience at right tackle (2,862 college snaps) makes him a nice value pick this late on Round 2.

57. Buffalo Bills — George Pickens WR Georgia
58. Atlanta Falcons (Tennessee) — Drake Jackson OLB USC
59. Green Bay Packers — Greg Dulcich TE UCLA
60. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Cole Strange G Chattanooga
61. San Francisco 49ers — Nick Cross S Maryland

72. Seattle Seahawks — Amare Barno OLB Virginia Tech
73. Indianapolis Colts (Washington) — Jalen Tolbert WR South Alabama
74. Atlanta Falcons — Troy Andersen ILB Montana St.
75. Denver Broncos — Leo Chenal ILB Wisconsin
76. Baltimore Ravens — Perrion Winfrey DT Oklahoma
77. Minnesota Vikings — DeMarvin Leal DT Texas A&M

79. Los Angeles Chargers — Daniel Faalele T Minnesota
80. Houston Texans (New Orleans) — Marcus Jones CB Houston
81. New York Giants (Miami) — Tariq Woolen CB UTSA

86. Las Vegas Raiders — Luke Goedeke T Central Michigan
87. Arizona Cardinals — James Cook RB Georgia

88. Dallas Cowboys —

Kiper's pick: Bo Melton, WR, Rutgers

Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson are gone, which means Dallas could look to Day 2 to draft a slot receiver, especially if it wants CeeDee Lamb to play more outside. Melton was a demon in the screen game in college, and he ran a 4.34 40 at the combine.

89. Buffalo Bills — Nicholas Petit-Frere T Ohio St.
90. Tennessee Titans — Velus Jones Jr. WR Tennessee
91. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Cameron Thomas DE San Diego St.

Not bad work.. I've taken all of these players. Although I see Bo Melton as a 4th, 5th round guy.

Different draft from the usual Guard/WR up high.

If Lucas has a chance at possibly being a LT(traits) then I like this draft. I do disagree with the comment of keeping Parsons an off ball LB permanently.

If I'm the Cowboys I make this draft about the defense and helping Parsons as much as possible.

Fix the offensive holes after the draft.

This mock is straight butt. Absolutely terrible.

A rotational end? When two plug and play starters are there (Zion and Lloyd?). A RT that doesn't give you more than Steele or Ball at this point (Pickens, Cross, Mathis, Muma, Brisker). Then a guy who hasn't broke 700 yards one time in 5 seasons. Has upside but is likely a 4th-5th round guy (Petit-Frere, Thomas, Kinnard, Jelani Woods).

It's like he takes the worst possible pick at each selection and knows nothing about this team.

Yeah, like 10 other picks make more sense for sure.

Remember, it's Kiper. He's an entertainer, not an expert.

If I'm the Cowboys, I trade down if I can pick up another round 2, 3 picks..Because some of the consensus 2nd round picks are better bets than the late 1st round guys..

Not only that, trading down helps you not force anything.. Let's you address more needs with more picks.

It's not where you pick: it's how you evaluate that matters.

Good God, and like tge first pick, but the rest?, come on Mel.

That's what many of us have been saying.

Too many people watch ESPN and think Kiper actually knows what he's talking about.

Are you shocked that, after all these years, he really doesn't?

Good God, and like tge first pick, but the rest?, come on Mel.
How can you like a guy who we need to play guard that cannot play guard in the 2nd? So you have Steele, Ball and Lucas?

OR how about a guy who is likely going in the 5th round in round 3? A guy who never went over 700 yards in a season in 5 of them?

This is great! Said nobody ever.

Hey at least Mel isn't mocking a safety to us like every season for the past 20

Todd's got the odds, Mel's got the evens. So Mel ends up making all the Cowboys picks.

Appreciate you sharing this stuff.

I think you misunderstood my post.
I like the first pick, hate the others

That's what many of us have been saying.

Too many people watch ESPN and think Kiper actually knows what he's talking about.

Are you shocked that, after all these years, he really doesn't?

Mel has forgotten more about the NFL Draft than you'll ever know.

Now be gone.

Mel is a fraud.

Like most tough guy Cowboy fanboys who get butthurt over criticizing their ESPN "draft guru."

You can buy that BS he's selling.. Doesn't mean the rest of us have to.

Given that setup, I'd take Zion Johnson or Kenyon Green, George Pickens or Alec Pierce and Jelani Woods or Isaiah Likely. Addresses our three biggest needs.
