Thing is I believe Gregory was protected to be a top 10-15 pick...Williams not so much.

At one point, Gregory was the highest rated player in that draft class according to several sources. I never saw him rated out of the top five and most of the time he was rated as the first or second highest rated player in that draft.

Not trading up. There's a lot of tight ends in the same range. I think there's more of a drop-off at WR, so I think we'll go there and then wait until the next round for the TE.

Baltimore just does it right year after year. I thought maybe Dallas had adopted a similar style the last two years but they regressed back to deciding on picks before the draft even started and refused to change when better players fall to them. They aren't fooling anyone by artificially moving these players up their board so they can claim they got their highest rated player. This is right back to the process that got them LVE.
