McCarthy's a little creepy when he talks to the draftees. "Where are you right now?"

I keep expecting either one to ask, "Why do you care where I am?" or for McCarthy to follow up with, "What are you wearing?"
Really creepy when Rich D whispers "What are you wearing right now"....

Personally, I think we had a very effective draft.
  • Improved OL, starter, depth and development, and may even have future starters at T.
  • Improved pass rush, speed and development.
  • Improved WR corps, speed and toughness.
  • Improved TE depth, blocking, and development.
  • Improved secondary depth and development with a special teams guy
  • Improved Rush defense with a DT that is much stronger than Bohannon, a guy who can push the pocket back.
  • Gambled on a LB with great traits and ability, but have to wait a year. Also a speedy 6th round LB for depth and special teams.
Despite no trades up for the splashy names, I give this a B before putting pads on. I hope it turns out even better.

Anyone listening to the draft show? has the team packed it up or is there talk of possibly picking up another pick. Lots of draft left and still some guys who could help out there!

C-

And the only thing keeping this from being an F is LSU LBer Clark.
no way its any where near an F.
B with a chance to be an A.
i see 3 starters...tyler smith at og,sam williams at de...tolbert at wr.
ridgeway and ferguson could be significant contributors.

Seems like he could fall into that Keanu Neal/Javon Kearse role, but they were saying he has some coverage issues.
They said the same thing about Parsons. And Parsons' coverage issues didn't cause any real problems last year. So I'll believe it when I see it.

For better or worse, they are hitched to him for at least one more year. Won't be surprised if we're looking at RB early next year with Pollard and possibly Elliott gone. I'd probably try to re-sign Pollard next offseason and cut Elliott and draft a rotation replacement.
See....they are pretty much guaranteed to have to give a second RB contract next year.

Bad business.
