Thankfully there’s a draft grade out there for everyone. If this one doesn’t taste right try another.

That's fine. Kiper knows little to nothing about the draft. If he doesn't have much good to say, then I feel better about the haul. Brugler has more knowledge in his little finger than Kiper is his entire oversized
empty brain.

Exactly, Mel Kiper is full of crap and is nothing more than a Ravens homer who ESPN pays to BS about draft prospects. If the Ravens had the Cowboys draft, he'd be gushing about it.

Anyone & everyone who works for or on BSPN knows little to nothing about football or any other sport. They have an agenda and it doesn't include sports.

The only thing these people do that is more useless than power rankings is draft grades right after the draft. And it is all based on their previous rankings prior to the picks. Pick my guy, I luvs ya.

The Cowboys went into this draft based on needs and they addressed them 1,2,3,4. Did they upgrade from the OG, DE, WR and TE they lost? Way too early to tell about that and right now, we do not even know how many of these picks and UDFA's will stick.

One thing I am concerned about is that they went into this draft with the same problem that has plagued this defense for years, stopping the run. I do not see that fixed with this draft class. And they will face teams that want to run. The league leader is in their own division. Their pick at DE is a pass rusher.

I do think they helped their run game because as rough as Smith might be, he's a more powerful force at the point of attack than Willams or McGovern were.

He is 100% right. As Cowboy fans we want to defend our team but the draft was awful as bad as the off-season.

and those writing him off as a hater or idiot he loved our last 2 drafts. Was he an idiot then?

Yes. In fact, Mel Kiper is a moron and those that take any heed in what he spouts as knowledge, is also a moron. The man is obviously inhaling too much hairspray.

Lol They drafted jake Ferguson and Mel was like “ugh I guess he can figure out how to put his shoulder pads on correctly. He could at least do that.”

And he was full of crap about his blocking ability. He made Ferguson's blocking ability out to be subpar, which everyone knows is rubbish. Ferguson's blocking ability is solid. Not elite, but solid, and that's what we need out of him.

WIS does not turn out TE's that can't block. They might not be the best at it but they can get in the way, Every player on the offense at WIS has to block, including the QB.

Exactly!!! Yet Mel was saying "Hurr durr durr, Ferguson's blocking is suspect". That was one of the stupidest things he could have said, considering that he's a Wisconsin TE. Plus, it was rubbish because he would've gushed about that had the Ravens picked Ferguson. So yeah, Mel Kiper can go play in traffic.

A lot of people are down on the Cowboys draft class, why should Kiper be any different? Because he's always right? I'm not exactly jumping up and down either. But if last year told us anything, all it takes is for a few players to break out to make a difference. Parsons and Diggs transformed our D. I'm not expecting it to happen again, but it's not something you can predict.

Dave Birkett Tweet from last years draft-"Mel Kiper: If the Lions stay at 7, they should look at WR over defense. Kiper said 7 is too high for Micah Parsons." Also didn't like it when we picked him wasn't super negative but wasn't positive either.

He his 50 50 at best. Risen is better than he is IMO
case and point. If we did a redraft of the 2021 draft, Micah would be the 1st overall pick or maybe 2nd. Mel isnt an expert.
