Twitter: Jerry's draft board deciphered

Why does it matter to some of you what it says after the draft. What secret have he told you from this picture
It is massively interesting to see how an NFL team, our team especially, saw the rankings of these players vs the armchair experts.

Do it and blow it up for all to see.
You would forever be honored in this house for such an endeavor.

That is almost certainly what they did. Even a bad version you know the length of the name and length of school plus you know the names you are looking to match it with.

Actually as I type that knowing the names makes it a much easier algorithm. You have maybe 40 possible names, make the top hyperparameter similar length (and you know Smith is16) then make the next one matching letters and then filter it down to 1 max per bin.

Edit: I just realized I went into work mode. Sorry.

So they did have Tyler at 16. Showing that could have made some of the other players mad. He could have just created another Randy Moss situation.

Lmao weak

Moss was mad because Jerry told him if he was there he would take him, and then on draft day with Moss sitting there, he picked freaking Greg Ellis. Yea we deserved that butt kicking everytime he faced us for that nonsense.

Im listening

Did Jerry think that everyone else thinks that there's NO WAY he could have recreated a list?

I just don't get this and it's embarrassing as a fan of the organization.

Interesting that it says that Tyler Smith is from Utah. The Utah player would be Devin Lloyd the linebacker. I wonder if they played a switcharoo and forgot to change it to Tulsa.
The software might have ignored the T in Tulsa and used Ulsa into Utah.

I mean weren't those top 2 players on most boards? 2 top 10 picks is gonna get you a nice little ranking.

While ranked high everywhere, the fact that NYG got them and 5 and 7 proves that they were not the consensus 1-2 . Neither were they slotted there on the last round of mocks.

Some players use every little thing they can as motivation. They especially hate it when their favorite team disrespects them in any shape, form, or fashion.

Only thing this proves is that we did in fact have Smith ranked ahead of the two guards. Nothing to see here folks, it was well after the first round? What’s the big deal?!

The Giants strengthened their trenches and got the two best players on the board. Good for Joe Schoen.
