It occurred to me that I make a LOT of posts all over the place. But you ONLY respond to me in Zeke/Dak threads..

LOL>
Funny I don’t see much else from you beyond excessive zeke love and the occasional Dak criticism to somehow support your admiration. Good for you. As far as me responding to you I’ve got to where I don’t respond to you much you whine a bit much for my taste But since we have a history going way back to 2016 and prior I don’t ignore you

My top 10 Quarterbacks heading into 2022:

1. Aaron Rodgers
2. Patrick Mahomes
3. Tom Brady
4. Josh Allen
5. Russell Wilson
6. Justin Herbert
7. Matt Stafford
8. Deshaun Watson
9. Joe Burrow
10. Lamar Jackson

Jackson and Watson could easily move up the list but they are coming back from varying layoffs albeit from a high ceiling. Herbert is too high on the list based on what he has done but he has such a high upward trajectory.

Then you have the likes of Carr, Murray, Tannehill, Cousins and Ryan in the mid tier with Prescott who is in my view anywhere between #11-16 in the league.

It amazes me how some people genuinely seem to rate Prescott as a top 5 QB in the league!
I wouldn't put Watson there given he hasn't played and he doesn't exactly have the best resume with 2 4-12 seasons. I am not a big Lamar Jackson fan, but perhaps its preference. I don't much like RBs playing QB. they get neutralized in the playoffs and that's been the story for Jackson so far.

but I pretty much agree with the list, except I would put Derek Car at 10. Kyler murray at 9 and move burrow to 8. if Mac Jones plays similar to last year, he is knocking at the top 10 door.

A 1st round stud RB. 2 1st round WRs (Amari was a trade but was drafted 1st round). Somehow, I don't know HOW....last years o-line allegedly rated one of the best?

That's a is a LOT of talent that many lower round QB's would NEVER sniff, since the 1st round QB's get drafted by crappy teams...well...okay teams with a low winning %.

I'm not saying Dak sucks or doesn't suck. I'm just saying...that is a LOT of 1st round talent. I bet even the people that ignore or argue this, have posts complaining about lack of attention to the defense during drafts.
well, to be fair, a former stud RB since zeke just doesn't have the it any more and is already getting slower. Cooper is a decent/good WR1 but he is not top 15 in the league. the middle of the OL is a mess until we see otherwise. Biadasz is at best back up material and not a full time starter. but to your point, Dak has had the support and enough talent for him to have done more. he has not.

Replace number 8 Deshaun Watson with Kyler Murry I put Dak at 11 and Deshaun with so many what if's going into the season at 12. IMO

When was Dak even remotely close to a Championship game?
How fast people forget. Jason Witten. Dez Bryant. Both caught their first playoff touchdown passes from Prescott. One bad play against Green Bay and we lost. I bet you don’t even remember the game

Well to be fair, Dak has to first get to a championship game, then we can compare things like blowing leads lol.

Comparing QB's is full of flaws, as they all have different coaches and teams.
you cant use stats , just the eye test , watch them play.

I know you dont like mahomes, but with the eye test , he is the best qb in the nfl right now.
he isnt perfect, none of them are.
I don’t even think he’s the third best quarterback in the NFL right now. Patrick Mahomes

We got us a zeke basher here. Why do you hate Zeke?

Zeke was doing great last year until an injury. You think he should be cut because he didn't do 2016 Zeke when the coaches asked him to keep playing.

He bashed Zeke?

He's clearly an Eagles fan.

I don't like Zeke. I don't like taking RBs in top 20. I don't like paying them a second large contract that has hampered us from signing FAs and I don't like the fact that because of his contract he gets carries and starts when he was clearly injured. RBs are dime a dozen, you never hand them a second large contract, much less the largest contract ever. zeke is on the decline and has been since he got his second contract after holding out TWO years before his contract was up.

yes, call me a zeke hater. I don't mind. I am not sensitive like you being called a Dak hater.

You don't like taking a RB in the top 20 and I don't like having a 4th round QB as our franchise QB.

You even went as far as to flat out say "I don't like Zeke".

That's fine, I'm fine with that, but getting in your feels if people aren't Dak homers while you acting like this about Zeke is a little hypocritical, no?

the two aren't equal as you failed in your attempt to make a connection. this was surprisingly dumb logic on your part. I expected better/more from you.
Brady was a 6th round pick. Montana was a 3rd round pick. etc.

I wouldn't take a RB in the top 20 because its not a valued position in NFL as it used to be, given the emphasis on passing and the league going more towards a passing league. RBs are plug and play and you can find them in any round, plug them in and they are effective. the learning curve is very small/short almsot immediate

and as much as you try with your "black/white" view of the world attempts in painting me a dak homer you fail. I am neither a homer/nor a hater.....you have clearly made your views and your anger/hatred towards Dak and anger and hatred of the posters who don't support your view of dak well known on this board.

btw, that was a sarcastic remark back to him as he is obviously bothered by the fact that he is called a Dak hater. call me a zeke hater if it makes you feel better about being called a Dak hater. why does it matter? why are you bothered by it?

p.s. I wouldn't have minded being called a Dak lover, if I was one.

He is not. I like Mahomes, but he has flaws. He masks them and makes up for it due to his talent. You'll see him make passes just fine. What you'll rarely if ever see is him step up into the pocket and deliver the ball. The SB they lost to the Bucs is a perfect example. The playoff game against the Bengals is another. He'll choose to take off over buying time in the pocket by stepping up. Sometimes QBs with great mobility have a hard time committing to stepping up. He's one of them. Another you'll see rarely doing that is Kyler Murray.

The salary cap was meant to prevent teams from stacking talent. Besides keeping player salaries down that is. But the only position it doesn't apply to is quarterbacks. That's the issue.

it still applies to QBs. there is a cap for 53 players on the team. whomever manages it best and is able to draft and put the best talent (including coaching) on the team, wins.

but ou are right, it was put together to prevent teams like Dallas, washington and SF at the time to stock pile talent becuase they had money. NFL thought, strategically it would be better for the league to have parity and salary cap was the process. for all intent and purposes it has worked as its the most popular league in US. and yes, it was a way to control salaries getting out of hand.

I just wanted to point out how hypocritical it is of you to flat out say "I don't like Zeke" but then get all emotional towards people that believe we need a better QB.

So, you can save your Brady/Montana/Dak (HAHAHAHA) comparisons for someone else.

That's all, no need for you to try and explain yourself.
