Micah needs to chill or his words are going to catch up to him. Both Elliott & Prescott had undeniable great rookie seasons as well. Just saying!

True, but they were both products of the good OL … as it has been proved later.

Micah was the sole bright spot in out DL in 2021… as tank, gallimore etc. were absent ,

He is a good player
There are dozens of players around the league much worse
Every player is not gonna be a super star. Your roster is gonna have more good players than great players and those players play important roles
Hes a rotational guy not good enough to be a starter. Hes a starter cuz gregory isnt here lol. You guys use the word good too often. Hes a backup player frfr

Not sure Parsons will rush the passer enough to have more sacks than Lawrence. Of course if Lawrence gets hurt yet again, all bets are off.

That's awesome! IMO, if D-Law has any balls and/or sense of pride, this should start a major competition between those 2 guys, if not more of the D-lineman as well. I see this as only being great for the defense!

Why do people keep thinking Parsons is going to play DE? The last month of last season should be a huge clue...
Doesn’t matter what position he plays. He can play qb, he will beat Lawrence in sacks

37 tackles, 5 sacks, 12 QB hits as a rotational guy
That a good player
No one is saying he’s a starter quality guy but he’s a good depth player who in 13 games put up better numbers than some very high paid starters around the league did

Just watch him hes just a guy i dont care what his stats are. 2.5 of his sacks were in blowouts where they dropped back every play and he got more snap count.

He actually played the run about average but his pass rush grade was below average last season.

Randy Gregory had the best pass rush grade on the team after Micah last season

Gregory is a disruptive player no doubt
That why he got paid
But he had 1 more sack and 5 more QB hits
And nearly half as many tackles
Armstrong isn’t a star but most of every teams roster are not stars but teams that have good players making impacts tend to have better teams
He’s also making a whole lot less than Gregory

Armstrong isn't a good player. He had 0 sacks in 2 out of 4 years. Cmon now. He's average and what's worse is he has no specialty. No speed, no power. Just.......average

He didn’t play much at all until last year

2 years he averaged about 30% of the snaps. Last year he had 56%. So he should have had a few sacks each year with half the snap count.
It’s called developing
There is a reason everyone isn’t first round players. Many need to develop
He’s not a super star but he’s more talented than you think and reasonably compensated
Most of your roster is gonna be just good players
Only a few will be elite and a few will be starter quality who will be starters for years, though may never be elite players. Some are just good players who can fill a role and be productive
You call that average but by definition half the league would be below avg if that was avg

Hes a role player not a starter. Every team needs roleplayers. But you shouldnt give roleplayers 2nd contracts and have them be your starter.

Good idea for Parsons to instigate a competitive spirit in D-Law by challenging him that way.

I'm sure D-Law will do his best to out-do him. May the best man win!

Ultimately, the Cowboys might well be the winner!
