It amazes me that the Rams find ways to fit Aaron Donald, Matthew Stafford, Jalen Ramsey, and Cooper Kupp under the same salary cap.

..for now, that will change soon.

Forty Million given to Donald over those years means not giving the forty million to another or other players.

In a sense, he just cut some of his teammates from the team over those years. The cap is what it is.

There is only one pie and a bigger slice for one means a smaller slice to others.....or none at all.

This is so overlooked! Most NFL teams need a rebuilding period of 2-3 years before they have enough draft capital and clear out salary cap dead money.

Kupp is well paid, but not outrageous. He's 15.7M a year.

In the NFL you either spend the cap money on players or it rolls over into the next seasons cap
