Judging from a few posts so far this seems to be heading in the direction where it needs to be one of those threads that instantly get sent to colleges to be studied in psychology classes.

I'm going to be a homer and say Romo, Romo, Romo. My argument...if you take away his injuries and provide him with better coaching, Romo could have had a similar career to Favre. So screw Favre. His name is even messed up. How are you going to pronounce the "R" before the "V" when the "V" comes first.
I do agree that if Romo had better coaching, supporting talent, healthy and Farves ability then he could have had a similar career to Farve

I was going to say you would have to be a homer to take Romo in this debate. Maybe Romo could have had a Favre type career without the injuries, but fact that's even a thought probably tells us Favre is the obvious answer. ;)

Saw a video this week of Romo, maybe it was nfl network. Anyway, I was just amazed at how quick Romo’s delivery was, just a quick flick of the arm and the ball was out. We done did him badly unfortunately.

….the OP acknowledged Favre got a ring and said he’s take Romo….it makes no sense smh….
This part of the internet is the only place where you can ask this question and not be laughed out of the conversation.

It's not even about the ring when it comes to Farve vs Romo.

It's about talent, skill, leadership, consistency, and health. Favre was far superior in all of those categories. Most lists have Farve as a top 10 QB all-time while Romo won't even make the HOF.

Romo was never, at any point, considered the best QB in the NFL while Farve has 3 MVPs to his name.

This is a stupid question.

Favre was never the best QB in the NFL either with all his turnovers. Only a moron ignores THAT but there are plenty here. You screamed about Romo's pics, Favre had far more.

The last time Romo faced Brett Favre was in the 2009 playoffs against Minnesota. Favre carved the Cowboys up with 4 TD passes, while Romo suffered 3 turnovers. He fumbled 3 times losing two of them and had a pick. Favre played in 4 conference title games with two different teams, while Romo never won a divisional round playoff game but some would rather have Romo? Lol Not to mention Favre won three league MVPs.

Farve but really close

however, id take Romo over dak by a small margin. thats more of a fair of an assessment to compare to guy in nearly identical situations. Maybe Romo on Farves teams could have done just as well..how do we know?, i think Romo may have better than Aikman but no way to prove it unless Romo played on those 90s SB teams FULL of HOF players and better coaches..

Sorry but Brett Favre won 3 MVPs and was the best QB in the league those years. Good luck finding any expert that would refute it. He had a lot of turnovers but he also had the most TD passes of any QB in NFL history when he retired.
