What if Noah Brown is ready?

I'm starting to think the FO/staff has some faith in Noah Brown to be a starter. He's been here six years but he's still only 26 and has shown some ability as a receiver and blocker. He's trimmed down and looks good in camp.

You never know... He might be just as good as Will Fuller, and more reliable. I hope so. Brown has been one of my pet cats every year.

This appears to be the best training camp of his career.

The media guy that does some of the camp video reports with the dc.com crew said he had not seen a drop from Brown during camp.

If i throw a cards game to the ground pick the cards up again they could be in the right order. Probability is low, very low. But there is a chance.

I'm sure you are a great guy and all, but you should immediately be benched for no less than thirty (30) days for this ridiculous thought.

Heard a chat with Bryan Broaddus and Bobby Belt recently where they said they thought he looked noticeable different this off-season with better, quicker footwork.

They have no faith in him to be a starter. He’s a very average receiver who excels on special-teams which is why he stays around.

All I'm saying is sometimes guys just need an opportunity.

This has definitely been the case for all of his career but I don't know... I have a feeling they're counting on him. He's a lock to make the team either way because as you said he's a good special teamer. But I just feel like the reason they haven't signed anyone at WR is that they expect him to contribute.

He’s had plenty of opportunities. They’ll certainly be counting on him this season because we’re short handed at WR. Gallup will be out the first few games of the season and we lost our top free agent for 6 to 10 weeks. Brown may end up having to start at some point but the Cowboys certainly aren’t going to be comfortable with it. He’s an average receiver.

He isnt even really on the roster for his ability as a WR. If they looked at him in terms of WR ability, he'd have been gone after his rookie contract was up. He is here pretty much for ST. Him breaking out as a WR is pretty unrealistic, no matter what kind of camp reports you see

Would it shock everyone if Noah were to line up opposite of CD in first game?

They do have several guys that are showing they are better than the vets that are out there now.

So, I should clarify.

I'm not saying Noah is someone you should draft on your FF team but I do think he could be a viable stop-gap until Gallup comes back.
Three catches a game.
