I have been critical of the NFL and how they have made it harder on DBs in the last two decades, but a DB like Diggs shouldn't be getting burned the way he was last season.

I think the truth is, Diggs will always be in the mold of a Marcus Peters - he's going to get burned hard every few games, but he'll create turnovers. The issue here is, averaging 8-10 INTs a season isn't going to happen, so those times he gets burned are going to be a little harder to justify when his average falls to about 4-5 INTs like it is now for Peters.

For sure the ints are going to go down as the opposing coordinators get to understand your game a bit more.

My hope is that Diggs transforms himself a bit so he is more sound fundamentally and will still get his picks, but makes OC's scared to try him because he is always in good position.

He needs to continue progressing with his development into a complete CB.

I was listening to Rob Phillips the other day and he said Diggs has been toasted a lot during camp. Continues to be feast or famine with him. It’s one thing getting beat by CeeDee but Fehoko?

The force is weak with this new generation

Actually to leave asocial media takes more character than to stay with it. Its sad but it is like it is. It offers too many temptations for young people these days.

That said i take my hat for that move. Even if i can only guess why he actually did it.

Go back and watch film on this man, he was turned sideways and 360ed 20 times last year! gave up 1000yards, most passed against corner, and missed tackles more than Jaylon!

Man— this is such a weird story. Diggs got burned plenty last year and acted so calm and cool— why is he losing his composure over some practice reps?!

Makes zero sense. But if he is indeed sulking and pouting over some bad practice tape— it would appear he has become a sensitive diva.

Will be interesting to see how he tries to explain himself because the media will definitely be asking him about it lol

The media and fans have been absolutely raking him over the coals for those two reps he got beat on in practice which is utterly ridiculous. Anyone who has played football knows that 1 on 1s are tilted very much in the WRs favor and everyone gets beat. I highly doubt he cared at all until it got blown way out of proportion by the idiotic sports media complex. In today's era of outrage reporting you see stupid stories like this explode all of the time.

I don't blame him for getting that negativity out of his life. Social media is garbage for your mental health. I know that no one here wold be thrilled to be receiving a constant barrage of messages about how much they suck at their job.

Dude is very overrated by the fanbase.

The guy just put up the most interceptions in a season since 1981. I would hardly call appreciating that overrated. He is very good at getting the ball and has a unique skillset we have not seen in quite sometime.

Only 13 players have EVER had more interceptions in an NFL season and nearly every single one of them played in the 50s and 60s when quarterbacks couldn't throw and the rules favored the defense heavily. The season we witnessed from Diggs in 2021 was pretty much once in a lifetime for a fanbase.

Its a valid point. Social media is toxic. I will be surprised if he doesn’t reactivate it soon though. Like when he makes a positive play and it’s going viral lol…

And that’s the whole point. He loves the accolades. He needs to learn to let the shade roll off his back. Take the good with the bad— and trust that, just like you pointed out in your post— anyone who knows football won’t hold a few bad reps at practice against him

The chances of repeating what he did INT wise is incredibly low. Antonio Cromartie also had a season of double digit INTs, I wouldn't exactly put him up there with the best.

Diggs needs to be better covering his man because INT total will surely drop significantly this season.

He probably deleted it so he can focus on football.

lol i’m saying. 90 pct of this board says to stop talking and play, to cut out the noise and here we have a kid doing just that and it’s a negative?

he’s been low key his whole time here, humble and not caught up in the hype and this feels like an extension of that
