Monday review of the game meetings, focus was on the penalties of course. But MM seen things he liked as well.

MM said only 2 missed tackles on defense and ST's.
They went into the game wanting to establish the running game, and did that.
On the flip side, the run defense was good also. Bohanna had 4 tackles, and the DT's attacked the double teams well.
Tyler Smith did a lot of really good things, and was physical. His mistakes were technical and be corrected.

#5 - Rowdy was kicked by the Bucking Bronco at the game and maybe forced into retirement

McCarthy chose to promote the positive, because his job is on the line. But I'd be weary of a coach that cares more about his job than winning. Jimmy or Parcells would have called it a stink fest and let everyone know how they felt.

True, but the truth is the big areas we wanted to address did well. Save penalties.

MM chose that because players themselves want to here things like that as well.
So you get he is saving his job from that.. Take off the dislike blinders

Jimmy and Tuna said positive things as well.
Players want and need to hear positives just as employees of any company does.
If all you do is tell the negatives and berate them, they then just don’t care and stop trying. I seen it all to often.

I like what i saw from Gallimore, Hill and Bohanna vs Denver, ..maybe in time Golston and Ridgeway will eventually make plays in the upcoming Chargers game.

I know a butt kisser when I see one. So, you can sit back and act like McCarthy ain't kissing the king's rings, but I know better.
