But regardless, Sam has been very disruptive in these games. I see a lot of potential going forward. I get excited when I see what he's able to do.
If (that's a big if) he can keep that up against starters, this D could be dangerous.
If (that's a very big if) he's anything like Micah, we could have back to back DROY candidates.
I just hope he's not another D "almost" Law. LOL! Don't get me wrong I love Tank and how disruptive he is. He's a great all around DE creates tons of pressures. And if the coverage is good, or it's a poor QB, he can get there. But, most of the time he, like many others we've had over these years, is just a step slow and fails to get the sack or make the play needed. He gets home sometimes, but not as much as we have needed from him. We need Sam to be a guy who can get there and make the sack/play, like Micah, Ware, Haley can/could.
