Seems I recall some here thinking letting this guy go was an error. Something about he had a good game or preseason game, and there were fans wondering if this was the right move for Dallas to move him along...

I dont recall that, unless by some you mean one or two. My recollection was universally he thought of as a draft was a mistake.

Pretty much draft night.

Oh, Watt coulda been.

See above. So much this.

Who did Dallas draft to replace Taco?

Seems I recall Taco had one good game, and the replacement for him here was struggling.

Some, yes, an English word that could mean two or more.

Never looked like a good pick day one. But everyone drafts busts. He's not what I would considered a bust bc he's just not that good. Most busts have all the talent in the world and can't put it together. He's just 6'6 and a decent pass rusher in the right situation.

I suppose it was.

Eh, not really surprising when you consider their 1st round pick from last year is listed as 3rd string. He never had much of a chance without injury… you can get a back end average DE a lot cheaper than the minimum oo him!

I remember three weeks before the draft when people were starting to tie him to the Cowboys selection, I was not a fan at all of that selection if they drafted him.....

If he wasn’t good (or showed potential) in college he wouldn’t have been a first round draft pick. He’s a bust because he was an NFL first round draft pick that failed. What would one qualify as a player with “having all the talent in the world and not putting it together.”? You're describing half the players in the NFL.
