He’s definitely starting against the Lions. Perfect time for him to come back given how bad the Lions defense has looked. If Dak looks bad against them, stuff will hit the fan.

So he misses another week. I don't think any fans truly expected him to play and be ready anyway. Be safe, for the long run as there is a long way to go.

Defense will need to carry the offense again. Unless Moore can call a really good game in the run game, and be successful. Of course Zeke and Tony and the OL must execute the plays.

Give Cooper a good game plan and protect him. That is the key, no turnovers and no sacks, or minimize them as to not being drive killers. I think if he has protection and time to throw, he will be fine as he has shown. Though last weeks numbers was not as good as to yards. But it doesn't need to be a shoot out either.
Defense will need to show what we all think they are or can be against a good offense.

Their defense gives them a chance in any game.

It also appears they missed not using the IR designation.
Lol, we’ll yeah, he’s your starting QB, you don’t really think they’re going to have him not be able to participate especially in order to keep some scrub DT who shouldn’t have made the team in the first place do you? Simple basic reasoning skills!

Dak and Jerry better not let us win this game with Cooper Rush at QB.
They certainly want to win and they know it is the defense. They did a great job of constructing this team while you badmouthed them all the way. This Cooper Rush thing that you are doing is one of your more weirder things that you have done here.

It will be the first home game for the Cowboys in three weeks.
Lions only win was over the Commanders.
Detroit one of four teams (Houston, Las Vegas, Tennessee are the other three) on the first bye week of the season. I'm sure the rested team expects Prescott to return for that game.

No, it doesn't. What is it that you don't understand that they wanted him on the field at practice and the games?

Ummm, IR doesn't mean he couldn't be on the sideline at games. They also can be at team facilities, in the locker room, etc. They just can't actually practice or play in a game.

For some reason I thought our bye was coming next week. That's why I thought there was no way Dak would be playing this week.
Now I think he'll be out there as soon as he's ready & it's reasonally safe for him to play full throttle.
The Lions & Bears would be good opponents for Dak to get re-aclimated, but I doubt the FO would be nervous about starting Rush.
