Zeke always gets going against the birds. If he sucks against them, it’s over fir him. I expect 90-120 and 2 tds tomorrow.

Original you are, govnor.
And right you are.

Alas, I posited a week ago that our team had morphed into one not led by Sequel in rushing yards.
But a good discussion topic, nonetheless.

To me Sequel's moved down in the estimation of fans and the FO. The FO being key.
I believe it has, by ommision, signed off on Sequel being secondary.
But what's not to like on a 150-yards rushing day led by Pollard and augmented by Sequel?
Running attack, as is, is very good. Passing is anemic but economical. Dak will hold us back and, more important, stall our momentum.

The things I say!
I should write a book: "Suffer I for Cowboys."

Zeke is on pace to have the worst season of his career. We can't blame it on carries since he is on pace to have more carries than the two previous seasons. Zeke is a glorified blocker, that's it. His time as an elite RB is over.

You’re missing g my pint. Most athletes have teams they destroy . If he can’t even get going against a team he owns, then I’m saying that’s it. It’s just like Micah destroying the eagles.

3 years late. But I guess better late than never.

Looks like your new pair of glasses are finally kicking in. Better late than never I guess.

I think Rush might be fairly obliged to offer up a game that's somewhat exceptional, although, he's shown in the past that he's capable of significantly doing more than what we would expect. I believe Moore might call a game that's somewhat bolder, in fact, one that could afford Rush a chance to improve his reputation considerably. :)

Zeke is what he is at this point…..a battery ram to wear down defenses. I like what he is doing right now which allows Pollard to break a big run here and there. He doesn’t need 100+ yards, just punish the defenders and block on passing downs.

If Pollard could block as well as Zeke, he would get more carries. It is working, no need to upset the apple cart atm. The shelf lives for RB’s diminish rather quickly but he isn’t useless yet, he has a role to play.

Nah.. I think the Eagles are going to commit heavily to stopping the run and that's going to make it hard for Zeke to get untracked. They've really only stopped him when the QB has been somebody like Nooch or Dalton. I think Rush fits in there between those two somewhere. The good thing is that with Rush at the helm Moore has mostly kept running the ball anyway even if it wasn't eating up large chunks of real estate. But I worry that if we get down a whole touchdown the flood gates will open and Moore will have Rush slingin it 50 times.
Do you think this is one of those games where we need to receive if we win the coin toss OR would you rather differ and get the ball after half time?

Eagles have shown to have difficulty scoring in the 2nd half of games, regardless of the score. Cowboys with Rush seem to have trouble scoring when we have a lead but we tend to respond with a scoring drive when we are scored on.

Do we give the Eagles the ball first and run the risk of giving them an early lead?

Or do you think it’s important for us to try to score first and allow for more balance on offense throughout the game?

I actually like the way Moore has used Pollard and Zeke this season. In the past it was always so choreographed third series type deal for Pollard.

Having said that seeing Malik Davis would be fun too

I'm hoping our new giant at left guard proves to be the road grader we need and this team can successfully run against stacked defenses,,, if that happens this team will be a contender.

The Eagles are giving up 5 yards per carry this season so if they can get the RBs to the second level, there should be room for extra yards. I hope we see a lot of Peters at LG and Farniok at FB tonight.

And hes gonna get the qb killed. He cant pick up the right block and let several guys get a bee line to cooper. ..in just one game. Everyone says our offense is too fragile to go deep...but complete missed blocks is one play away from qb ir.

An outlier play doesn’t tell the entire story.

We don’t win that game last week without Pollards big play.

Here is an idea.. Don’t put him in positions to block as much….

Instead of starting drives with Zeke start then with Pollard so Zeke can be on the field more on 3rd and long situations.

Simple fix to get our best runningback on the field more.

I always like to get the ball at halftime.
