It's because defenses are making in game adjustments to what the Eagles offense does in the earlier part of the game. But some Eagles fans have insisted that the Eagles lack of scoring in the 2nd half is because of their play calling getting conservative with a lead. Seems like they just don't want to admit that the Eagles have a weakness which better NFL teams can eventually exploit or that's going to cost the Eagles in the playoffs, if they don't figure it out.
