Perfect game to reinsert Dak

The Lions present some issues with their effective running game and offense.

But their defense absolutely blows. Can't rush the passer, can't cover, can't stop the run, can't do much of anything on that side of the ball. Perhaps the worst defense in the NFL.

That makes for a perfect team to make the switch back to Dak at quarterback. He should be under very little duress, and the running game should provide some manageable third downs all game long. Dak won't likely have to throw much, probably 20-25 passes total.

That's not to say this will be a blowout, but a comfortable win looks to be in the offing. Great chance to find a rhythm with the receivers, and get the feel of game action again for Dak.

Yes
Worst defense in the league by a large margin and playing at home.
It's a great way to ease a player back in.

That Lions offense is pretty good though

I hope they call a game that only requires 20-25 passes. But something tells me either Moore or Dak goes pass happy.

Penei Sewell RT # 1 pick last yr for Lions lining up against Tank and on the flip side Tyler Smith and I would imagine Terrence Steele against # 1 pick Aiden Hutchinson at edge since he moves around these are good match ups .

And Dan Campbell watched the Eagles grind out a run run run clocking eating drive to seal the deal expect 25 rushing attempts by Detroit .

While you're probably right, but the Lions running the ball against the Cowboys should look nothing like the Eagles running the ball. Goff is a better thrower than Hurts, but has zero chance to replicate what hurts adds to their run and RPO game. Still they are going to have to run the ball 25+ times in order keep our pass rushers in check.

The Sewell matchup will be one worth watching. He has been excellent this year (at least from what i've heard) but a matchup of going against Tank/Parsons is going to be a next level challenge for him.

Not much help because Goff can't run the RPO. However, they have two excellent young backs, and they run the ball well.

They just can't stop anybody, and Goff is a statue, so I don't see how Dallas loses this game.

I don't know.

I don't think Dak will live up to the mythical status he always seems to rise to whenever he is out injured.

I remember what he looked like Week 1.
It'll be the same Dak. Great against the scrub defenses, and awful against the good ones.

Much like Jalen Hurts, who is getting all this love despite being just an awful NFL passing quarterback.

It's the games against good defenses that define quarterbacks.

Aaron Glenn the ex Jet DB running this Lion defense . Detroit cannot get into a shoot out with Dallas and will feature the 2 headed run attack just to keep the score in the 20’s.

Looking at Lions defense they have constantly had teams run the ball on them, Cowboys in my view should give the Lions a heavy dose of running the ball, use play action off of it to hit big plays down the field. Same token Lions have done a very good job running the ball and Dallas defense will be challenged to stop the Lions run game. If Dallas can jump on Det early that can go a long way in making Det 1 dimensional

I would agree. I want to see the same offense with Dak pushing the ball down field a few times. 25 carries by the RBs at least. Dak 25-30 passes.

2 TD is your bar? :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Your Dallas Prescott pals are going to disown you for thinking so lowly of him.

Me and you have more common than you'd like to believe it seems.

They actually remind me of us a couple years ago. They can score a lot and the D sucks. This should be a tough game.
