Not a pretty offensive performance, very sloppy on third and shorts and too many penalties. However it's a win so we'll take it.

Thank God it is over and we weathered the storm. Should not have been this close. D looked flat but did their job and held Detroit to 6 points; great job D. As usual, K MORON screwed it up for us. Need the Giants and Washington to lose; Giants are losing but have the ball and Washington is beating the Packers! Tampa is losing to Carolina!?

After not playing football since week 1, I was impressed by Dak's grittiness and resiliency in taking time to get healthy and coming back with a W. He started off rusty and didn't get much help from his teammates early on(N. Brown) but he stayed the course and navigated the team to a victory.

Offense didn't look great overall, Dak was just ok, but everyone turned it on when they had to. Bad play-calling but we are all used to that now. Give Pollard the game ball. Def did its thing, put the brakes on what had been a pretty good Offensive attack. Overall I'll take it.

Cowboys got bailed out by the refs and the incompetence that is the Lions. Dak did almost nothing for three quarters again, and save for a Micah tackle that saved a TD and a fumble at the goal line that should’ve put the lions up 13-10, the team was fortunate.

Prepare for this forum to be an arena of gladiatorial combat this week with the endless waves of Dak Prescott hate threads. It is about to get real haha. I hope the mods have their calendars clear.

That being said, ugly win but this team just may have to win ugly this year. The defense is good enough to lean on. We need the offense to regain some form but I think they were a little better today than the score would indicate.

There also needs to be a serious discussion about Big Mike taking over play calling from Kellen. The complete lack of situational awareness from the OC today was jarring and cannot be allowed to continue unchecked. This team is a legit Superbowl contender if the offense can claw back to league average with how the defense is playing. This season continues to surprise me and I'm excited for what comes next. All that is important is that Dallas is 5-2 and has an elite defensive unit with the chops to win games in January.

I missed the game living in Maryland. It appears that we had offensive line breakdowns throughout the game. The defense appeared to step it up in the second half. Can someone give me a summary?
