I could see us drafting one 3-4 round. Look for some of the 2nd round talents Brugler is talking about to drop to rounds 3/4.

Brugler is my guy but I actually last year's class was one of the best TE classes in memory in terms of quality prospects.

Yep, this TE (and RB) class is absolutely loaded! Dallas could find two TEs better than Fergshot. Dalton Kincade is freaking fire! He could just take Shultz spot n number.

Between our rookie TE's and the potential of this upcoming TE class, it would be such a waste to bring back Shultz. I hope we move on. im not too confident we will though.

After today’s game, I wouldn’t mind Tucker Kraft even in the first round (unless we can get Mayer) and another TE in the 4th or 5th round. We need receiving targets who can get open for Dak and also block for Zeke/Pollard. OL is high on the priority list as well. WR, not so much.

It’s gonna be BPA every pick.

I think this is a deep class for sure. I wouldn't necessarily rule Schultz out from coming back as I'm not convinced another team is going to dig deep in their pockets for him.

That Kincaid game against USC was absolutely bonkers. Not saying he's Travis Kelce, but it feels like he gets an extra 4-5 yards on every pass by finding the right seam, putting his head down and just barreling forward.

I think Schultz will see a nice market for himself.

I can imagine a team like the Jags or Bears looking to pair Schultz with their young QBs.

Maybe other teams won't dig too deep, but probably deeper than the Cowboys want to go.

Cowboys have far bigger needs at other positions, won't be drafting tight end in the first two rounds, so all these supposed great TEs will be long gone.

Maybe one will drop in the draft due to injury or a poor combine or some perceived personal problem, but that's a long shot...

And ideally those needs are plugged in FA so we can take top talent in the draft.
