Super Bowl LVII game thread: Chiefs vs Eagles ***NO Dak POSTS!***

Jerry said he was proud of them last time they won the time. “Proud “

Let that dumb s sink in…
Jerry is a salesman, everything that comes out of his mouth has to have a positive spin. It works in Texas where fans are passive but that stuff wouldn't fly somewhere else.

I can handle our rivals winning it. Whatever. I jsut hate how we’re a brand designed to always be at least 9-8 so we’re always marketable and profitable. We’re mot even a real team

I think that’s what I did. However, having attended several games at the old Vet over the years, I will always HATE everything and every player and anyone associated with the Eagles. I’m not proud of it, but I smile when they have injured players. It is what it

It is just a game. Once the game is over, our lives will continue

Once again, play clock zero, lane Johnson false start
Lane Johnson has jumped a good 3 times this first half. Like not even questionable
Nope. Tackles are allowed to adjust their rear foot before the snap. Other elite tackles like Jason Peters and Trent Williams do the same thing.

Lane Johnson’s Fast Starts, Not False Starts

With the ball still tightly gripped in center Jason Kelce’s hand, the Eagles’ star right tackle is already working his way back into his passing set. Johnson’s left leg is kicking backward, and, by the time the ball reaches Hurts in the shotgun, Johnson has retreated almost three full steps from the line of scrimmage.

Online, there is another familiar refrain of calls from the slow-motion police and referee watchers: Johnson is good, because he false starts on every single play. But what if the inverse was true? What if Johnson is so good that it simply looks as though he is leaving early on every snap?

“A similar thing happens with Jason Peters,” Johnson says of his former teammate and current Cowboys offensive tackle. “He’s always the first guy off the ball. That’s why he’s a Hall of Fame left tackle. He developed that.

I'm proud to admit it.
