I'm dying to know how Sunday Ticket will work in sports bars. The amount of bandwidth needed to have 20+ TVs streaming HD video is pretty significant. Are sports bars going to need to run ethernet to every TV? I'm sure there are some nervous bar owners out there. We have a sports bar nearby where every booth has its own small TV, and on Sundays you can tune into whatever game you want. Presumably, every one of those TVs would now need a Roku or something like it in order to get Sunday Ticket, plus a way to supply internet to each of them. Yikes.

I didn't know that current YT members will have early access to deals in the Spring.

Maybe YT will supply them with some special equipment to assure no outages or picture freezes / interruptions.
 
That sucks, sounds like they are going to force people to have YouTube TV in order to get Sunday Ticket.

I have had Sunday Ticket since the early 90s, but this could be a deal breaker for me.
 
i just need to know the cost....and the fact that i haven't received that yet just tells me it's gonna probably be excessive. Good thing is that usually there's only 1 or 2 cowboys games that don't come on tv so i'm good with the redzone/streaming links combo i've been using in the past

In reality, I don’t think it will be any cheaper than before. I will stick with Hulu live and just live with the games that are televised

Yes, there are rumors of a la carte.

Some thought it meant customers would be able to buy specific team games only. But that's unlikely because Apple backed out due to the NFL not wanting to change the format.

Like $300 for YT Subscirbers and $500 for non YT members.

The good thing about YT TV is that you can cancel membership at any time.

yea i never had sunday ticket before...but i just got onto youtube tv so i hope it's a good discount...but we'll see....

Yes. It will be likely cheaper as an add-on for YouTube subscribers but that makes sense to me.

I’m curious about possibly making the switch to YouTube TV. Are you a current subscriber that can share your opinions on it?

How much is YT TV? If they were smart, that's how much more they would charge for a stand alone package. They won't care who cancels, just that they get the extra money during football season. And some people will keep it.

I'm not saying this is a good thing. But it is for them. I'm just hoping they have team packages. They probably won't, but I can hope. Because zero chance I get Sunday Ticket.
 
Looks like my Sunday Ticket days are over . I have a sports bar set up in my man cave with several Direct TV genies .

If YouTube doesn’t allow me to stream with same account on multiple TV’s like Netflix and others then I’m done .
