Good player but will he be there at our pick. Draft nicks were saying he was Ohio States best receiver over Olave last season.
Actually Marvin Harrison Jr is the best WR on Ohio St and in the country. Jaxson was supposed to be the best but the kid of a GOAT took that title.

Because of that I do think its a good possiblity that he will be there at 26

After watching more of him and seeing what he’s done at the combine…. I definitely like JSN more than I did a week ago. I think he does a lot well, and he has a really good mind for the position.

However, with him not confident enough about his speed to run the 40, I’m pretty sure that he is a 4.6 guy. At best 4.55. I just don’t know if a guy without a lot of speed is worth using the Cowboys first round pick on.

I think he’s a good receiver, but he is kind of just more of what Dallas already has. I would like them to get a guy who can run by defenders and stretch a defense. That is what is missing from their offense, IMO.

I will say this: The new offense will be more of a possession type of offense, than a big strike offense. It might be that a thicker WR that has fantastic hands, runs killer routes and plays with a great football IQ might be something the team wants out of a 2nd 3rd WR. JSN might be a guy that the team likes more than the fans do.

If the team likes him enough to take at 26… I will feel much better about them doing it after really looking at what type of football player he is. He is undoubtably a really good receiver and is WAY more polished and able to do much more than a guy like Hyatt… who does run pretty fast.
Agree.

I hope we just take care of WR in FA / trade then draft a dynamic slot weapon.

I’d prefer not to go into this draft needing a WR2.

Marvin Jr. came on last season. He was a bench warmer two years ago. It was Jaxson, Olave and the guy that won offensive rookie of the year. Marvin is still in school.

Marvin was a sophmore this season. He would be the first WR picked if he was in the draft right now.

I like what Jaxson did last season but when he got on the field this season he was just not consistent IMO.

We agree on Marvin Jr. Will be the 3rd pick in the draft next season next to the quarterbacks. Jaxson was injured this season and never got it together. I think he will be the first receiver taken in this draft.

Jaguars Prefer Jordan Addison

Updated March 5, 2023
By Charlie Campbell. Follow Charlie on Twitter @draftcampbell.

At the Senior Bowl in the Hot Press, ***USER-BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1*** discussed how the Jacksonville Jaguars were looking to add more cornerback and wide receiver talent for the 2023 season. The Jaguars are hoping that veteran Calvin Ridley is reinstated after serving a suspension last year because that would lessen the need to add playmakers for Trevor Lawrence. However even with Ridley joining the team, Jacksonville wants to have a lot of weapons to continue Lawrence's progress and improve the point-scoring capability of the offense.

The 2023 NFL Draft is not strong at the wide receiver position, and there could be four wideouts who end up going in the first round. That group consists of TCU's Quentin Johnston, Ohio State's Jaxon Smith-Njigba, USC's Jordan Addison and Boston College's Zay Flowers. Jaguars sources told ***USER-BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1*** that the clear favorites in that group were Smith-Njigba and Addison. Jacksonville loves their respective speed, route-running, and playmaking ability. The team had some skepticism about Johnston and Flowers translating to the NFL.

With the 24th pick in the first round, both Smith-Njigba and Addison could be off the board. There are a number of wide receiver-needy teams picking in the No. 10-22 range, and those two are quality values in that range. If they are off the board, the Jaguars could end up going with a cornerback based on the feelings expressed about Johnston and Flowers. There could be some wide receiver options on the second day of the 2023 NFL Draft, and the Jacksonville sources also said the team may select multiple cornerbacks this year because the organiation likes the depth of corner prospects on Day 2.

We're not getting him. Oh well.

I really find it annoying when a prospect just wants to be a Cowboy. In fact, I think it is a detriment.

That would be interesting, wouldn't it? To see someone like Zay Flowers fail in the NFL.

It happens, I guess. That's why I hesitate on a guy like Downs, who just looks like he has game.

Let me preface by saying there is no bigger need on this team than DT and we will never build a championship caliber one until we take the position seriously.

Gallimore
Osa
Bohanna
Watkins

All Jags.

Anyways, you just know the two fools that run this team are going to target a WR (once again) to help this QB. They wanted to this year but Burks or Olave didnt fall to them. WR is a huge need as well. Watching this guy’s tape, he would be a perfect fit for this offense and this QB. He is an elite separator which is exactly what we need.

Id love to have this guy if he is bpa at our pick

Glad to see you finally admit it’s not the QB.
