At the very least Mazi is a great run defender, and he makes it easier for Micah and the LBs.

He has the tools to become a good pass rusher, too, and Quinn gets the best out of players.

Mazi smith is an elite athlete for a NT. Taco was an average at best athlete at DE.

The only thing they have in common is playing for Michigan.

Who the defensive lineman is doesn't matter when your quarterback throws two interceptions per game. And a consensus top 10 qb pick doesn't fall to 26 a lot. This gives me bad Aaron Rodgers flashbacks. People thought he was cocky, too.
