Can I go UDFA?

Jalen Moreno Cropper as an UDFA is a home run IMO.

1K + WR with 4.4 speed that was slotted to go around the 6th. Think he could compete for a slot role for, bring some deep speed and also be jet sweep guy.

If I have to go drafted players I’ll go Deuce. Dude had like 10K all purpose yards last year and has surprising contact balance and receiving ability.

Fehoko as a draft pick because I'm still looking for that interior rusher who can be disruptive in the backfield. Think he's got a chance. Like those relentless guys, too.

Durden as a UDFA because I just really have a thing for small-school UDFA receivers. Started with Miles Austin and last year, Dennis Houston was one of my favorites. Some of these guys needs some work and refinement, but you can see the raw ability there.

Mazi and Deuce.

For so many years we have wanted a big slobber knocker in the middle to stop the run. Too many times the Jones would not take one other than towards the end of a draft. They wanted a DT that had three tech abilities over one tech abilities. For years this has been an issue to the point anytime they draft some guy in the low rounds or sign someone we get excited hoping they could help.
Finally the did something to correct that problem and frankly it is long over due. It might not be a flashy pick but it is something that needed to be done. This helps this defense.

The Deuce and dad stuff is good for video and the heart strings but frankly that was not why I wanted him.
I enjoy doing the draft simulators and as usual I probably did in the hundreds this year.
So many times I might take a different RB earlier in the draft but at the same time I almost always took Deuce with one of the last three picks if he was there.

Guy has proven he can run the ball and catch the ball. Proved he can play football against good competition and proved he do so without getting injured all the time.

When TP went down last year in the playoffs, we lost speed and a dynamic playmaker and it showed.
I think Deuce can step on during each game to get some snaps. I also think he can step in a game to fill in for TP if need be.

This is someone who was taken in the sixth round. If he gives you some touches during the game that is a win. You have to also wonder if he takes over for Turpin to save a roster spot.

Tell me more…I wasn’t wowed with his athleticism or production but loved the long arms and catch radius he displayed.
Did you see the 40 yard one handed contested catch against Georgia?

Maybe the scouts put more weighting on Jalen Brooks 2021 performance. Just looking at two catches vrs the Bulldogs highlighted what he's capable of, one slant where he got separation from (looks like) Lewis Cine (possibly where he came to our attention, as we had a 1stRd grade on the Safety), also that catch of the week against Lassiter, who's a CB with natural ball skills (and would potentially go first couple of rounds, in 2024, if it wasnt for his inability to play the run and tackle).

Unfortunately, a poor 40 time at the Combine, in a class of where there are so many mediocre WR's, will get you downgraded to latter rounds.

My favorite is easily Deuce, but I am most intrigued by Fehoko as a DT.

Are we talking about who I like best? Or who I think the best pick/player is?

As far as best pick I really hope it's Richards, we need the o-line to be more than just good. If they want the quick pass and run game to work they need it to be awesome.
But if we're talking favorite pick I think it's Overshown. I had him pretty high as a good LB option for us. He can move, cover Te/rbs, rush the qb, hit and spy. Love his athletic ability to make plays all over the field for DQ.
