That's his business. But if we wants much more than the vet minimum, he can enjoy his life outside of football.
Man I would never hire you as an agent.

Zeke should not sign anywhere until at least the middle of camp. His best shot at being on a good team and making a good salary this year is waiting for injuries.

There are a lot of teams who will appreciate a smart physical player who can step in and pass protect and play the role of the thumper. When guys start going down they are not going to want unprepared inexperienced players who cant be trusted on short notice.

Zeke should not even think about signing right now. One of these playoff teams will come calling in the fall after injuries start happening as they always do.

I hope it is Dallas for the comedy of it.

My services are cheap: 10% percent of your salary plus a $50,000 bonus. My client list includes Patrick Mahomes (the Cat Oil & Gas employee from Canton, Ohio), Dakota Prescott (who is engaged to Megan Elizabeth) and Tom Brady (the rugby player). And no, I did not just look those names up on Facebook.

Guys who fill this role don’t make big salaries. I would be surprised if he gets a deal for more than 3 mil.

His second contract had an over $50 million guarantee.

He's made his money. Now were I in his shoes would I want both? Sure, I wouldn't want an NFL player who wasn't honest about that, the old "I just want to win" quote we hear so often isn't really want they're thinking, I have no problem with Zeke wanting both....

Now I have to wonder, did he really say that he wanted money and to win? Or did somebody just assume he wanted that?

Just asking for a friend...

What's the figure he's looking for? Zeke got way too comfy with the money he was making in Dallas.
If he’s looking to get paid a lot, his career will be over. He’s going to have to settle for a reasonable contract.

His first mistake was thinking he can just mention any team in the league and they would be lining up. Right now I could see a team like Cincinnati possibly showing interest.. but I don't see him getting anywhere near the money he's grown accustomed to getting. Payday is going to look very different.
Before any salary talks - how many teams really have interest in Elliott for 2023 - and at what juncture?
-signs on at the beginning of training camp
- brought in if a team loses too many RBs during TC or preseason
- biding his time as 2023 gets underway, waiting for a middle or late season call to shore up the RB room for a contender

Zeke may want two things but teams want one thing......the 2016-2018 version of Ezekiel Elliot.....and they realize that's not going to happen.

The only thing that will give Zeke what he wants is desperation. Unfortunately, that could very well be the Cowboys status going into the regular season should Pollards recovery timeline be disrupted or the other RB's on the team prove to be unproductive.

I agree, but from the sounds of things, he still hasn’t accepted the reality of his situation. And if several months without a job hasn’t sunk in, he was probably very delusional before the Cowboys cut him.
months with zero axctivity , the reality sets in in PS games atrt airing and the week leadingup to game 1 and hes still sitting...that whne it will dawn onhim he might have to retrie , wait for the best deal after week 1 or take less and go beg jerry for spot..
dudes not hurting for money so all the posts ion here about fast food and Home depot being an option haven't paid attention.. dude made what 100mil before taxes. over 7 years? hes got plenty of paper.

Appears everyone is waiting for his price to come down. It may come down to training camp before he’s signed or maybe he catches on with a team later in the season that loses an RB that’s making a playoff push. In that situation he could be very beneficial coming in with fresh legs.

What's he expecting to make? He's probably a 2-3 million dollar RB now.

35 million, Dude does not need money to influence His decision. He's set financially. He doesn't screw up his money. His mom and Dad raised him right.

So Money, being off the table. He should only worry about fit, and capability to win the Whole thing
