Don't think he was even headed for the practice squad. Probably Houston, Moreno-Cropper, Fehoko and Drummond ahead of him in that line.

Oh, based on another thread where so many members on here were celebrating an Eagles CB getting hurt I thought the appropriate thing to do was celebrate player injuries.

Fehoko is most likely going to get picked up (a lot of teams told McClay that they wanted him on draft day) and if not I could see him choosing to go somewhere else (practice squad) because of the depth here.

I think a team with WR depth issues should be all over a guy 6-4 225 that can run 4.4

Let's say Fehoko is the seventh-best receiver. Why would the team not want to have him on the practice squad instead of let's say the 10th-best receiver? It's simply a matter of keeping the best depth until you can find better. Right now, the only backup receivers who have shown more than Fehoko are Tolbert, Turpin, Brooks and Houston. Three of those will probably end up on the 53. You've got to have others on the PS for scout-team purposes and in case of catastrophic injury.

I don't know if he will now. He just hasn't shown enough. Maybe you are right about the size/speed factor, but I think teams have receivers this preseason who have shown as much or more than Fehoko that they will want to keep.

He is a cool local story for me as he's from the University of West Florida here in Pensacola that's located about 15 minutes away from me.
I seen him play a few times in person.

Hope he heals fully and is able to pursue his dream next year.
