Well the next time we play them and it's 3rd and long.... just throw a long downfield pass to whoever Brown is guarding and that's an instant pass interference call every time.

Brown was very good in 2021. Last year he was not, and then he got hurt on Thanksgiving.

I wish him the best, but if I had to guess he'll just be a depth piece in Pittsburgh. I think his best football is behind him.

Good for Brown. Hopefully the achilles recovery didn't do a number on his athleticism. Best of luck either way.

Bless Anthony I wish him well.

But recovering and regaining previous playing form tends to be awfully difficult for DBs - especially CBs
and he was just decent (at best) before the achilles tendon injury.

Luckily we have a starting safety that has rebounded quite well from a similar achilles tendon suffered during his
time in Indy, when Malik just could not stay healthy to save his life.

Although he doesn't have near the speed and range as he did when he was a top 5 to 8th overall talent
coming out of Ohio State, Hooker has done so well overall that he was rewarded a newly re-signed contract.

we may regret letting him walk by the years end. Maybe not, but it would have been nice to have that kind of depth on the outside.

Good pick-up for the Steelers. I never understood all the criticism he got; I think he was a good CB and never got his due.

I liked Brown here dude was solid....

once he gets burned one time and gets it out the way hes pretty much solid the rest of the game
Never seemed to look back at the ball when it was in the air. PI's at back breaking points of the game. He was our dak on defense because I held my breath anytime the opposing qb threw the ball in his direction.I wish him well on recovery but I'm not going to miss him

I remember the pick he had late against SF playoffs two yrs ago . Handed the O the ball in good field position with a momentum swing and the O basically squatted in the grass did its business .

Right now he is on their PS. Any team that wants him can sign him including us.
