A part of the cowboys died when Jerry Jones couldn't handle dealing with Jimmy Johnson because his (Jones) ego wouldn't allow it. After that, you can sugar coat it anyway you'd like.

This board seems like a bunch of cry babies and drama queens some days after a tough and humilating loss, and like king kong thumping on his chest after a good win.

The season isn't over, and there is still a lot of football to be played.

I'm not a Dak hater, nor a Dak lover. Someone said it best IMO that after this season (vs last years) that we will see what happens with Dak in the future. The odds may be agasint it, but still a slim chance he could run the table and turn things around.

That said, at the end of the day, when it comes to QB's, head coaches, defensive coaches along with player developement along with contracts we can all point to one man and that man is Jerry. The same can be said for any other NFL team owner, but those owners generally they stay out of the fray because it's not their job and they know it.

Having live in NC for over the last 20 years being stuck with bombardment of Panthers news and games, I can see Tepper following in Jerry's shoes with family getting mixed up in a sporting business. That said, the philosophy seems to work for some others, and why I have no clue (Hunt family easily comes to mind, but that didn't turn around until they brought Reid on board).

Although I'm not a Dak "hater", even I'm starting to see that. It seems Jerry's issues is the fact that "he likes his guys" even if at the end of the day if those players aren't contributing.

Pay for a great GM, keep your nose out of it, and see what happens in 5 years IMO. I'm not trying to rub salt in any wounds, but looking at our main rival in the division, over the last 20 years, it seems they have no issues letting people go trying to find the "secret ingridiant" with the main purpose of winning it all.

Linehan, Moore, McCarthy, and even Jerry know Dak has issues with accuracy and is unable to preform under even moderate pressure. Under heavy pressure he even struggles with the short stuff.
It is what it is.
There will be no wins against tough defenses with Dak at QB, or with MM at HC for that matter.
