I can't speak for everyone but, for me I thought the Cowboys were on the 49ers level or perhaps even a little better.

That's why 42 - 10 is so hurtful.

If, I had realized the Cowboys were a C plus/ B minus to the 49er A plus, I would not have felt so crushed by the loss.

Now, that I realize the Cowboys are a Middling Quality team and the Super Bowl is a fantasy, I'm going to watch and enjoy the last 12-13 games enjoying the highs without
the stress that comes with the lows.

We have a limited number of Cowboys games left this season and I plan on wringing out all the enjoyment I can from every game.

49ers set the tone. They body slammed Pollard on the sideline. Twisted Turpin into a pretzel. Peanut punched the ball from Pollard. Erased CD with some serious in your face coverage. Picked out the weak links on the O line and overloaded the stunts. Took away the easy throws and pressured Dak to be the real Prescott, some have refused to see.

I think you have to temper expectations but its all about momentum leading into the end of the season and in the playoffs. Maybe they find some, maybe they don't. Right now it'll be a long week of evaluating.

One game shouldn't change perception that much.
Nothing changed for me. I thought they were going to get stomped and that's exactly what happened. What I have a hard time understanding is how some fans thought Dallas had a chance of hanging with them given the competition they have faced so far this season. SF is far better than the Jets, Gnats, or Patsies.

Yea but you think everything is the worst. It's not like you had some great insight.

its about expectations. its all Jerry does, he builds hope and we all buy into it, time an again, but this time I am throwing in the towel. this team is done. why you ask? after just one loss? no, its the way we lost. no heart. no fight. and then everyone coming up with excuses that we are not that bad. Yeah, Micah. you are that bad. score was 42-10. and if you can't change that score, it reflect how bad you are.

in other words, their coaches and players watched tape, had a plan and executed.

we talked.

on the contrary it does. its how you lose. we got demolished. couldn't do anything. they out physicalled us. beat us to a pulp. showed everyone how to take out Parsons and rest of defense becamse average. took out lamb, and rest of recievers couldn't get any separation. and neutralized pollard.

we showed no heart. just talk talk talk.

No, we don't 'all' buy into Jerry's BS.

Not sure what gave you that idea. The Cardinal game was revealing. However every year this team's roster is grossly over rated. Take the hype with a mountain of salt.

Losing that way means a lot less than playing your A game and still losing.

Speaking of setting the tone, Fred Warner rag-dolled Biadasz then punched out the ball for a turnover. That dude is a heck of a player.

Good approach and rationalizing skills grasshopper.

you cant turn the ball over four times and make all those bone headed penalities and beat a really great team like the niners

one game does not a season make

last two playoffs losses followed by a prime time whopping by the same team

that's a trend and trends (good or bad) can make seasons

We thought our defense was deep.
I know I did.

Well I actually thought this D could hold SF down to a maximum of 20 points again. I knew the offense wouldn't deliver, but our defense surprised me in a negative way. Maybe the Arizona game should have been the wake up call but I was willing to call it a fluke.

Appearantly they are also just pretenders. Beating up the little kids but get their underwear pulled into their arses when a true bully comes along. Sad.
